We have some solid deals with 200tb+ on 10gbps.
https://purevoltage.com or check our thread on here.
I agree, but they have their limitations from what I have noticed so far (for example, it looks like you can't open more than a 100 public port on your server)
And despite it, I like the server so far.
I will experiment more around it
Drop YABS please
https://github.com/masonr/yet-another-bench-script
Will do throughout the day
Did you check Hetzner? they offer 10G uplink too.
Doesn't satisfy my traffic needs unfortunately, it works at 20TB outbound monthly.
Notes here:
With just a 1 single HDD, it will be hard to push even 100 MB/s.
That's what RAM is for :P
Disk isn't a big issue for my use case. It sure affects the overall performance of the server, but my app mostly relies on the RAM.
Loading the data into the memory in small buffers then writing them back to the HTTP response body.
I am a bit curious to see if the CPU can handle many concurrent HTTPS connections at 10G considering the encryption overhead.
Indeed, but 16G...It will be filled by cache really fast, and sometimes it will just not be able to hold all the load tho...
Nah, with that specs he cannot even reach constant 5Gbps. Thats the silent catch. CPU will be full in no time thats a reverse proxy
Facing issues with Tempest.net here.
The network routing isn't the most efficient for me and my clients. A lot of issues with their firewall that I cannot disable as well. an unmetered 10Gbps server for $60/mo but it indeed has its catches.
I wish I had asked for a refund throughout the first 48 hours
Sad to read, that youre unsatisfied
..
Sorry to hear that, feel free to reach out to me here and let's see if we can solve this.
Avoro.eu DE Tube-Hosting NL Pebblehost UK under 200 bucks montly
OP, did you find your provider yet?
@oddmario I was quoted the following a week ago from a reseller named Andy10gbit (https://andy10gbit.xyz)
These were options I was offered in Europe but I opted for Canada, so maybe they still have stock if the above fits your budget. I moved over from Psychz because the bandwidth quality was awful.
Stop offering sellers on LET please. Only real company's keep the quality up please.
100% sure those are OVH or Leaseweb Premium servers. Andy10gbit is just a reseller so the quality is as good if not better as buying directly from OVHCloud or Leaseweb.
So what is his VAT number ?
I guess having a "VAT number" translates to:
LMAO. Anyway I wont humor your low IQ drivel so don't both @'ing me.
@oddmario Definitely worth a chat with Andy if you don't care about VAT numbers lol. He's known for cheap, high speed dedicated servers.
Hahah clearly you don't have a business. Go and buy some more seedboxes 16 year old child.
We live in different universes. For you quality = abusing 2.5gbit bandwidth on $9 netcup VPS.
@totally_not_banned please come and join and explain to 16 year old.
I don't abuse anything, so what is your comment about ? If your are looking for good line speeds NetCup is a good choice. Especially there Rootserver
Haha, i feel flattered. I'm not sure if there's really all that much to explain though.
After some deciphering he basically says: "Chat with andy if you don't care about dealing with someone who might already have tax authorities on his ass waiting for the most favorable moment to step in and raid everything."
Is there really much that needs to be added here? I figure a certain bubble won't care one way or another and andy not operating in a legit manner is obviously still just a suspicion at this point but @sunnyg pretty much makes it sound as if those suspicions were true and i think it's very much a valid question if such open condoning is appropriate for LET.
Thanks ! You bring exactly the right words !
Andy is a nice person, I talked to him before, and has some good deals too. However like @WhiteRoseG said, I'd rather be hosted with a company that has a clear presence of being a hosting company. But thank you, I appreciate your recommendation. also let's keep the discussion calm please
I have a server in setup with PHP-Friends, which I believe is owned by the same company as Avoro.eu. Currently waiting for that to be setup. Really nice guys there
Yes, you made a good choice I think you will not regret it. Enjoy your new server !
