@cybertech The DDoS attack affected the network from the world to my VPS, not just China. By the way, Should different countries be treated differently?
@jcfkccp my bad, i misread it. its indeed a DDoS but good luck, i dont believe their services are advertised with protection.
@jcfkccp I don't think switching IPs would actually help, and they won't compensate either because they have no responsibility for the DDoS attack.
@caspar Different IP addresses may have different routes, so they may not be affected by DDoS attacks. I understand this is not a Green Cloud issue, but it seems they don't have any ideas to solve the problem.
There is no worldwide issue with your VPS/IP. The latency to some China ISPs might be higher while the DDoS mitigation is enabled. We always advertise that our bandwidth to China is best-effort, we do not guarantee any direct or low latency routes. We have already provided you with a solution that to change to some other IP ranges that might give you better latency. We wont do it free as it requires admin time, $3 is just not enough for that, should we increase it to $20?
