Travel insurance != Fraud protection
One is an upsell, one is mandatory with the issue of every card.
The same argument has already been made, I said it’s clearly not as easy and consumer friendly, that comment got a big number of ”thanks” so obviously many people feel the same way, the protection is a lot better
As mentioned above - always set a limit on your card. If you use services of different providers, it is possible (check with your bank about this possibility), you can use different virtual cards. By using limits or virtual cards, you can significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized debits.
The case looks strange because a merchant with such a large chargeback (hopefully you've already requested it from your bank) would have to pay the bank a lot of money and even lose their merchant account.
And, of course, in this case you should file a report with the local police. They can investigate the case and stop further activities of such a "master".
BTW. I don't know if this is true or not, but according to the invoice you showed, these charges could be the result of a DDOS attack (invoice items "illegitimate traffic" or so). So you need to look into the hoster's TOS, because I've seen many hosts that don't zero out the victims' IP addresses and instead charge the customer for illegitimate traffic. We had such a case with LeaseWeb B.V. a few years ago. If such payments are described in the hoster's TOS, then unfortunately you have lost because you signed a client agreement in which such terms are spelled out.
Hello.
Hostragons Global Limited is an international hosting and domain name service provider and does not accept these accusations.
With the relevant membership, shopping has been done and illegal works have been done and penal sanctions have been made in accordance with our service contract.
A support request was opened with the membership, and the purchased services were requested to be transferred to a different membership, and the services were transferred to a different membership after obtaining approval on the ticket.
All evidence and proofs were sent to "Stripe" firm, which is a payment agent. Hostragons does not withdraw or use any customer's money without permission.
The customer has already initiated an existing chargeback and if they are justified they will already be refunded.
For bad comments of people who have no knowledge about the subject, an international court will be prosecuted for loss of reputation.
We gave the necessary information to the customer because I thought his password was stolen. We have suspended your account for security reasons, and we have sent all necessary information during the appeal process.

Feel free to sue yourself for making Hostragons look stupid.
Hi Hostragons!
Welcome to LowEndalk
Get fucked. Avoid hostragon like the plague. The entire statement is pretty much "Hey I'm trying to sound like a big boy". The statement you posted above already makes you look like an idiot.
Hostragons is now known as host-rage-on
A Turkish company based in Pitcairn Islands.
So you thieves allowed someone to order thousands of dollars in 'services' in short form, with multiple /24's, then billed for DDoS attacks, claiming 'illegal activity' then allowed them to transfer it to another account.
Sounds legit. Avoid Hostragons.

Google maps has conveniently placed a few garbage bins next to your office.
How fitting.
Awesome! Go get 'em tiger!
reputation already loss
Like I understand if situation does not appear as it seems to be. I understand if the original poster lied (doesn't look like it as he's provided proof and hostragons have done nothing but hand-wavy bullshit equivalent of "trust me bro"). I understand if this situation was taken too far.
But that entire post is just absurdly dumb and threatening "due to loss in reputation I need you to stop or else..." is just an empty statement that amplifies the impact of reputation loss. If this really was your legal representation telling you to post that with their name and title, then you should probably find a new lawyer because your legal advisor just made it worse.
@hostragons should never be used. Period. They're someone I'd never recommend to a client. A permanent black mark on an entity that's already in a saturated market. Just go to a competitor. Hostragons' just a dime a dozen. You can spend your money paying someone else and getting a similar quality product. Noone needs to fund this idiot.
Common lawyer's tone here in Turkey. Dude literally put his wall of text in Google Translate and posted what it spat out here.
Wait, which international court has lost its reputation and where would you launch your prosecution? At the UN?
Dude’s obviously a kid
It is kind of obvious I should make more use of "/s".
Don't talk like that otherwise you may en up at the International Criminal Court, an intergovernmental organization and international tribunal seated in The Hague.
Go, tell him @hostragons!
