Best US-based registrars with really good and fast customer service?

I'm looking for some new registrars for some critical domains, and I need the best US-based registrars with really good and fast customer service.

  • Preferably has a phone number that you can call to actually get a human being quickly
  • US-based customer support representatives
  • Very fast ticket responses
  • Preferably available 24/7 for urgent customer support
  • Apolitical - has good track record that they don't care about politics

Dynadot's support has been responsive and reliable whenever I needed them.

But I'm not 100% sure if they're US based though.

BTW, separately, I'm also looking for the best registrars with a great reputation for freedom of speech ( https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/186621/best-registrars-with-a-great-reputation-for-freedom-of-speech ).

Thanks, I do have a domain with Dynadot, but I have never had to use their customer service. Will look in to them more. Their headquarters is in the US I believe, but I need to find out more about their support department and hours of operation.

  • I know this is LowEnd but maybe try Google Domain? They don't have phone support but they have 24/7 live chat.

Thank you, I'm no longer using Google Domains (long story), but as for LowEnd, I'm curious to understand what you meant -- can you clarify what you meant when you said "I know this is LowEnd but maybe try Google Domain..." -- specifically the word "but"? I consider Google Domains to have reasonable prices, what am I missing?

Also, as for cost, TBH, I just want the BEST registrars for these critical domains. Cost is always a consideration of course, but not the most important factor for these domains.

Google is comparatively expensive than other registrars that usually mentioned in here.
For .com ending (pricing taken from tld-list) :
Google [US]: $12 (no phone support, 24/7 live chat)
Namesilo [US]: $10.95 (have phone support on business hour, 24/7 live chat)
    Internet.bs [Bahamas]: $10.01
Namecheap [US]: $9.76 (no phone support, 24/7 live chat and ticket)
Porkbun [US]: $9.73 (have phone support but not 24/7, taken from their footer)

I only skimmed their website, my info might be wrong

Hover/Tucows. Not us-based sadly, they are Canadians, but they are very good in terms of freedom of speech.

Namecheap should be fine as well, do not know how does support look there as I never contacted them, but it should be aight. In terms of freedom of speech, they are fairly decent as well.
