Okay this is just a casual review of RepriseHosting:
I have been using their RepriseZZDED service for over 6 months now and my experience has been overwhelming. The prices and the performance they are offering is amazing. I got no better alternative to go for to be honest!

Only thing I noticed that they started offering IPMI but I don't have that though anyways I live in shell so never needed it much :p
Only thing I have to care about sometime is the bandwidth, though still I never had the need to cross it but since it says limited 10-20TB so I have to be careful always :p

@tungbon We've already investigated and answered your ticket. Your ticket was opened at 1:43AM and it was answered in under 3 hours. By 10:30AM a senior engineer was back on shift and provided an in-depth follow-up answer. We don't provide technical support over LowEndTalk, so if you have further questions about the issue, then please update the trouble ticket.

Just to clarify for everyone else on this forum, tungbon's server has an SSD and an HDD. Tungbon ran his disk performance tests against the HDD. We ran a disk performance test on the parent node itself (on the SSD) and it showed normal performance numbers. It's not possible to run Yabs on the parent node of his server -- the script errors out due to various failed system requirements. That's how we knew he was running the test on the VMs hosted on his server (those VMs are stored on the HDD). Here's the output from the low-level disk benchmark test that we ran on the parent node (SSD):

    root@reprise:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=test_$$ bs=64k count=32k conv=fdatasync && rm -f test_$$
    32768+0 records in
    32768+0 records out
    2147483648 bytes (2.1 GB, 2.0 GiB) copied, 7.52506 s, 285 MB/s
    root@reprise:~#

Your SSD is performing as expected, your HDD is performing as expected and SMART tests for both drives came back clean. As my colleague Jeff mentioned in your ticket, there's nothing else to do -- everything is working as expected. Regardless, if you're unsatisfied with the server, you can always ask for a refund as long as you do so within the first 15 days of placing your order.

That said, please use the trouble ticket system for technical support. We don't monitor LowEndTalk for support issues and your replies here will likely go unanswered.

We are currently sold out of RepriseEEDED and RepriseGGDED servers, however we do have two remaining RepriseZZDED servers available at the promotional pricing advertised in this post.

    Thanks all!

  • @BrianHarrison any reason why my order was not accepted?, i asked in a ticket to pay with paypal balance and...

Yes, but we only offer the service for established customers (i.e., have been a customer for 3+ months). There's a significant amount of setup involved and communication with upstream transit providers to adjust prefix filters accordingly.

I need buy server "RepriseGGDED Special". Are there any valid promo coupons?

  • They all seem to be sold out. Or is it from a promo code that is no longer valid?

  • BrianHarrisonBrianHarrison Member, Patron Provider

@chrisfe Is the LETFREEHDD35 promo code not working for you? We sold out of that promo code for a short period of time, but we just added a few more servers under that promo code.
