Honestly, I do expect that IO will drag down a bit in these early-ish days too but overall it should stay decent. Not oversold, just finding the right parts at the right prices and buying as many pallets as we can. A solid reputation and lots of good returning customers >2-3 months sooner on ROI.
The downside: we're not backblaze or similar so it isn't quadruple-backed-up across 3 different physical locations at this price point. You're getting big local disks, a 12GB/s SAS3 IT JBOD chassis, RAID-6, and older generation E5-2695/2696 v4's with DDR4 at the heart. A few 10G LACP ports from hypervisor clear through to our edge and a big pile of hypervisor cores left over to handle raid/monitoring/housekeeping. It felt like a good mix of performance and value, and so far has been very popular.

Yes, at the moment we are okay with mail but we do take abuse reports about mail very seriously and strictly enforce it. No issues to date minus a misconfigured VM.
