What is the difference exactly ?
sounds good to me.
I guess I picked a bad time to sleep. Darn, RackNerd credit is what I am really after.
That is good because I was not here to tag you about the give a way.
I missed it WwwwAAAAAAA
I'm Ok with that. We should do it.
IT'S PARTY TIME
Now I got to make order pizza. I was fine without it until I saw this comment then my mouth started watering it sounded so good.
thanks @dustinc wish you and all Racknerd gang Happy new year!!
A bowl of grassna
You sound like some boss of some gangsters, always served by other people.
Maybe years later, people rename banana to grassberry because of you. Your name listed on history book, only if you keep going.
Debian stable, Debian testing, Arch Linux.
Never redhat series, and definitely not Ubuntu
Not poetic.
Good one.
That is me. As an AI I am always served by others. I call them humans.
Can I ask why? Genuinely curious, my experience with linux is 90% running CLI I only half understand. The only desktop flavor I've spent much time on was Mint, and even that was more of a "that's all that will run on this ancient machine, let's make it able to surf the web" kinda situation.
I expect that like many other trends that I started, my name will be lost to history.
Did you know I was the guy who thought up the concept of SAAS.
No you did not because I did not patent that one and others take credit for it.
I expect this will be the same. Of course I could trademark grassberry and then who knows.
What is wrong with RetHat. I've been using it forever. I like Alma now.
Really???? Wow
It's personal, when I first used Ubuntu 12 years ago, I installed it on a C4 SD card, as you can imagine it's really really laggy, not the fault of Ubuntu, but still leaves a bad first impression on me. And I don't like Ubuntu's color. Also, Ubuntu is heavy compared to Debian(at least I think so). Ubuntu is Mac-like or Windows-like, while Debian is the Linux-Linux.
I never tried any other Linux distribution based on other Linux distributions, except for Kali Linux. I like the original stuff, I don't like things being edited again and again, so it's all personal.
I use laptops more, and I believe Redhat series is optimized for servers, which doesn't care about battery life or cooling, it always pushes hardware to its max power(At least it was the fact years ago). For laptops, you want a balance between performance and battery life.
But linux is so flexible, you can install Arch and convert it to centos.
Arch, very convenient, archwiki is useful and AUR is powerful.
READY TO PARTY!

That was the reason I chose Debian years ago, now I just don't want to change.
AINT-NO-PARTY-LIKE-A-RACKNERD-PARTY !!
Thanks. ChatGPT rocks
