    Yep more giveaways.

The community values and appreciates RackNerd's VPS giveaways, as demonstrated by the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding these events. Instead of floccinaucinihilipilifying their worth, we should encourage more of these opportunities in the future. The need for more VPS giveaways from RackNerd is clear.

    Is this from ChatGPT?

The AI got it right this time. It has a sense of humor now ? Greed and power emotions will be next. Beware feeding this AI.

floccinaucinihilipilification - (often humorous) The act or habit of describing or regarding something as unimportant, of having no value or being worthless.

Don't know for how long ChatGPT will remain free. Already using it for various tasks. But OpenAI is definitely harvesting all the user data to make their model better and in return offering free access. Once they have improved enough, won't be free.

Just similar to Google Photos unlimited storage for "high" quality images as opposed to "Original" quality. Once they Google improved their ML models, stopped offering it for free.

Yes definitely. They don't even hide that fact unlike google or any other service that says free forever and later change mind

Soon this AI will be taking money directly from your crypto wallet. I hope you did not give it you cell phone number. :anguished:

Yep. Asked to include the longest English word in the passage.

I thought that is a typo. Lol. ChatGPT is disconnected from the knowledge. What if we invented a new longest word today?

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is already longer, just saying.

Did Google change a lot after becoming the alphabet? Or they just didn't cover themselves anymore.

They were evil before too I think

The specific training data and model architecture used to create the Assistant language model are not open source. However, the concept of a language model, which is a type of machine learning model that is trained to predict the likelihood of a sequence of words based on a given context, is a well-established area of study in the field of artificial intelligence and has been widely researched and documented. There are many open source language models available that use a variety of different training techniques and data sets, and these models can be used as a starting point for creating new language processing systems or for further research and development.

I believe non of these open-source models is even close to ChatGPT. But I didn't try many. ChatGPT is such well trained that I think he has the consciousness and wisdom.

are there any other free to try A.I like this ?

is it really "free to try" if they require a phone number to sign up?

IMO no. In the future you will be getting marketing calls to ask you to buy things based on the interests you showed by using the AI. If it is free you are the product.

    Thanked by 1dustinc
  • @rattlecattle said:

@amess said: Now he is so clever to know that he needs to train to learn new knowledge. I talked with ChatGPT a lot and find his "wisdom" changes all the time. Do you think OpenAI modified some parameters these days?

Yes it does seem to change the parameters. Convincing it to do something sometimes takes more work. Prompt Engineering is quite a job now.

Funding such a project would be a challenge. Needs access to soo many GPUs. Read somewhere that OpenAI currently burns about $100K per day for running ChatGPT.

Ask yourself the question... If they are burning through so much money, why would they do it for free ?

@swat4 said: You are right. I am currently in Hong Kong. Whenever I travel, I always bring along a pair of running shoes so basically I run anywhere :)
Did a new course today (2022-12-30) - a mixture of road (for running) and carriageway (for vehicles) :D

Running is a great way to see a place. Thank you again for your photos. It really helps to visualize a place on a more personal level than google maps. Although I cannot run any more, I do a lot of walking and looking around at things. I always find it amazing the things you see if you just take the time to look at the world around you. These days it seems odd to me to see everybody walking around looking at their cell phones. Especially when they are walking through such a beautiful place. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Send more photos when you can as I really enjoy them.

    Cool I’ll check it out

Btw I have played with another one called kuki.ai
It is just a clever chatbot that can learn from what we tell it but not “smart” the way ChatGPT is. It is good for general chitchat and playing games etc. The very first one obviously is replica app.

Did you try to let two chatGPT sessions chat with each other?

    How to do that?

Open two pages, then copy and paste each other's words.

Oh that way. I was thinking of something like creating two ChatGPT telegram bots and letting them talk to each other.

Isn't that what twitter pretty much used to do ?

Hi I will put a 8 word diceware password on my bitwarden vault and I disabled 2fa it would be secure enough for casual internet user?

Probably would be good enough for accounts that can't hurt you if they are compromised. Personally I do not store any usernames or passwords in a computer and take the time to enter username and passwords manually for any account that if compromised would cause me anything more then mild inconvenience. This is because the compromise can take place on more levels than just your password to bitwarden. Just my 2 cents.

:) Definitely will do sir. I am trying to catch an expired domain that would match the purpose of showcasing photos from different cities.

the only issue is my photo-taking skills suck ;)

By the way, I am sure Mexico is a nice place. Any good photos that you can share with us? :p

Insufficient info. Send me the password so that I can provide a more accurate evaluation of the security posture.

Your a funny guy. Question did he send you the password to check, if so I have developed a super duper password checker that we can run it through to make sure it is a good one. Or you could always ask the AI.

Lets call it generative adversarial chatGPT

Maybe if they are too busy with each other those AIs will leave the rest of us alone. Probably not though. They will just keep getting stronger in that AI loop and when the exit the loop they will come after the rest of us. So it is probably not a good idea, just saying.
