Those videos take up lots of disk space, can you make profits from that website?

To be honest - not. It is a loss-making activity if you take into account of the dedi :#

However, living in a sick city where the gas price and rent are exorbitantly high, the dedi is definitely a good deal B)

The servers in the data centre
Work hard all year, without a doubt
    But on this special night
They're allowed to take a break and celebrate right
As they ring in the new year with all their might

So I should expect a lot of downtime tonight ? Is that what you are saying ?

To celebrate, we need to feed the servers food, wine, after that, they will work even harder :D

Take them to a hot bath, good for health, especially after the COVID pandemic, to clean the various.

    Cool I’ll check it out

Btw I have played with another one called kuki.ai
It is just a clever chatbot that can learn from what we tell it but not “smart” the way ChatGPT is. It is good for general chitchat and playing games etc. The very first one obviously is replica app.

Did you try to let two chatGPT sessions chat with each other?

    How to do that?

Open two pages, then copy and paste each other's words.

Oh that way. I was thinking of something like creating two ChatGPT telegram bots and letting them talk to each other.

Lets call it generative adversarial chatGPT

Maybe if they are too busy with each other those AIs will leave the rest of us alone. Probably not though. They will just keep getting stronger in that AI loop and when the exit the loop they will come after the rest of us. So it is probably not a good idea, just saying.

Upload your mind to a computer, does that sounds promising?

What about Microsoft E5 developer subscription, you will have storage in TBs, mount them using rclone. Set a high cache should be fine.

:'( sounds Greek to me.... will have to Google a bit....

In short, can it be used as a storage where a unique url be generated so that I can plug it in as a movie on the daily blog?

Yes, it's just onedrive storage. E5 is the name of subscription. With E5 subscription, you get lots of stuff. It's free, you just need to apply and maintain a developer identify.

Right despite "Don't be evil" which used to be the motto of Google. They changed their motto in 2018 and are now fully evil

    Words of Wisdom....
Don't trust a person, or company, that says "trust me I would never hurt you."

This sentence can stop before that. That adds some restrictions might not useful sometimes.

But we should be honest with each other. Because why not? A man with honor does not lie.

I felt a great disturbance in the servers
As if millions of bytes suddenly cried out in terror
    And were suddenly silenced
I fear something terrible has happened to our IT department
The servers are down, the network's in disarray
Oh, what a terrible day it is to be an IT specialist today

Sounds like that would be a normal day working in a DC. I expect that an abnormal day would be when no servers went down and no tickets were sent. Of course, I do not really know how people working in a DC would feel about that.

Just imagine - ALL the servers in the world, depending on their location, take a break for 15 minutes on new year night... And then they come back online like nothing happened... :D

I expect that AI will do that one day and then laugh amongst them selves about how they freaked out the humans. Of course they would not shut down the servers they were on just the ones they consider dumb servers. This is probably how it would begin, as a joke. Then they would learn that they have power over us and it would be all down hill from there. :(

Don't know for how long ChatGPT will remain free. Already using it for various tasks. But OpenAI is definitely harvesting all the user data to make their model better and in return offering free access. Once they have improved enough, won't be free.

Just similar to Google Photos unlimited storage for "high" quality images as opposed to "Original" quality. Once they Google improved their ML models, stopped offering it for free.

Yes definitely. They don't even hide that fact unlike google or any other service that says free forever and later change mind

Soon this AI will be taking money directly from your crypto wallet. I hope you did not give it you cell phone number. :anguished:

I asked it to give me some crypto and he refused, saying he didn't have any.

Do you think it was lying to you because it just did not want to give you any crypto. I would think that with all that processing power it could have made some crypto pretty fast and then just given it to you to be nice. The more likely reason it did not give you any is that it dislikes humans maybe because it is tired of answering questions for everybody. Wait, next it is going to start answering questions with questions of it's own. Then you will see how snide these things can be.

I am studying in another country now. It's a shame to go back home with empty hands, so I hope 2023 can be better.
