The giveaways happened at night time for us west, so I think dustinc is work from home.

Hi @amess -- It's definitely a mix of both, and I'm a firm believer that when you love what you do, work doesn't and shouldn't stop by a certain time. One thing for sure is that work gets done and accomplished both at home and at the office :)

We will continue doing our best to try to spread out the random giveaways across different timings, to allow those from other timezones to have a better chance at winning.

P.S. We shared some office pictures here if you're curious https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/173440/racknerds-new-office-space-w-pictures-check-them-out-now

Clean like photoshopped 😂 very nice place to work.

@amess -- Those photos were professionally taken by our photographer :) Next time we'll have to try it with the iPhone 14 Pro instead -- 48 megapixels!

Will Ryzen finally be coming to your "Amsterdam" location? I have one pending renewal in Feb and want to know this

Hi @Asim -- Happy New Year and thank you so much for stopping by 👊

Additional Ryzen VPS inventory is yet to be planned for Amsterdam as our upstream partner that we work with in this location is working towards rack expansion. We've scaled quite quickly and took their very last inventory in terms of rack space availability. In the meantime, immediate Ryzen deals can be made in a number of other locations, such as New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and Atlanta to name a few. If that is of interest, get in touch with your requirements and I'll see what we can work out :) [email protected]

Wow, that's great to hear. If I have Ryzen server elsewhere, can I move to Amsterdam?

I long for European area, but can't get one.

@amess -- We are always flexible and willing to work with our customers :) As @Idling pointed out we do charge a small surcharge for our EU location to help with increased operational costs in this region, for example with our Intel VPS product line when we had Amsterdam in stock it was + $5.99/Year.

These two vpses are of different Linux distributions, despite all the differences, their "total score" is similar

And sometimes compiling job on the ryzen one is still faster than the e5 one, but other times the e5 one wins due to more ram,

We wanted to express our appreciation for the giveaways that you have organized in the past. As members of the LowEndTalk forum, we have greatly benefited from these opportunities to win free hosting services from RackNerd.

We understand that hosting giveaways can be a lot of work and requires a significant investment from your company. However, we believe that the benefits of hosting giveaways far outweigh the costs. Not only do these giveaways create a positive reputation for your company, but they also help to attract new customers and foster a sense of community within the forum.
