I completely END with this one of most unable and careless provider what i have seen ever and began gradually all move away
sorry but.. If you wanna save your money, time, nerves and useless disappointments then i recommend DO NOT USE VIRMACH
because THEY ARE REALLY GOOD FOR NOTHING (uptime, support, stupid approach and total ignorance from their side, regular multiple outages/failures, problems, headaches..)
And personally i assume (based on their acting - total ignorance of customers and closing of tickets without reply can only lead to this) they will become in near future DEADPOOL (already here are some indication that they are already now probably in collapse and unable resolve this disaster)
^
Share that on their home based, not here, they and their fans already move out
so that they can hear

I hope not. It is my lowend provider
Is there an estimated delivery time for the storage example in Japan? It was purchased in April and has not been shipped yet.
i have a feeling that a lot of LET users won't renew their services.
might not be such a bad thing for them.
i guess so... they might have to many customers and now care about a few 100 they will lose here
they might lose mostly <$22/yr services but can then easily churn out higher value ones.
@miu i can understand your frustration. The best thing they can do now is refund all pending/broken services. Otherwise, a lot more will be angry.
i have no idea if pp charge backs still works.
they don't care to much... but they are cheapISH
Personally, I have never used virmach for anything important, because from the beginning I considered Virmach to be an inferior, unreliable provider with bad support (with pretty portion of ignorance). I wouldn't even think of placing some paid clients with providers like virmach, which are important to me and feed me (a good way to go bankrupt), I put them on dedicated servers or, if VPS, then providers like Liteserver etc. - where you can rely on them, instead headaches.
Virmach in my eyes: Previously, poor performance on oversold xeons in combination with a poor colocrossing network, but the uptime was not bad. Now the performance has improved, but this situation is unsustainable for me. I had 24 services with them and about ~20 VPS for my clients for whom I manage hosting. On all of them, only some SEO microsites were running.. (main advantage from me was - to have multiple C-classes IPs for cheap.. for microsites and SEO purposes) However, now it is absolutely not worth the time spent moving everything up and down for the few dollars saved. An outage can happen to anyone, but when a provider is unable to recover node and its VPSes or a dedicated server for a whole week or month (instead tens of minutes or say few hours if it is not often) - that provider is completely but completely useless - just a waste of time and money. I started moving everything away, somewhere else, and I probably won't renew the services anymore, I've had enough of it, especially their arrogance and the fact that they don't make much of it (he has time reply on LES but closing client's ticket without reply). One morning i got email that i should backup dedicated server because they will migrate it, from this times whole weeks is away/unreachable/in unknow. What is it?? This is not hosting, this is a disaster. I don't even go to argue and fight with them anymore, I put it behind me/over my head, bcs the time saved is worth more to me than the time killed to argue with them, and another lesson for me - to use only proven providers, instead first save few € and then kill time and nerves and move all away.
IMO: Maybe a critical situation will arise for them on Black friday - when they find out that enough people have not renewed for them to be more not able to pay their upstream providers and infrastructure. If i good remember, many deadpools happened just with this scenario and on the break of years/after BF when scammed and disappointed users did not renew (few examples for all - Hiformance, Woothosting, AlphaRack)
Or maybe even sooner, because their "outages" are really EPIC (see on their network status page..) It doesn't matter to me anymore, they don't interest me anymore, they're useless to me more, and for the shits I used them on in past. For me personally - most worse provider and failure in 2022 yet. And this is only for laugh that they still have in their tag here "Top Provider", really "top acting" what they show now. (only fact that service are unreachable days, weeks + they ignore affected clients who paid and close their ticket without response.. definitely belong to the tag and mark as "Top Provider") But probably it is still ok - bcs he paid provder fee here.
@VirMach Ticket #428635, had submited 2 monthes please help resolve.
i will. Mine arer working OK, and for PEANUTS a year, I can handle some days offline per year
almost everyone can/could handle a few days, in some cases weeks offline... but the ignorance makes it harder for me.... and thats how bad service starts when ppl start to swallow everything.... at some point it will become normal... and I wont swallow nothing as long as i pay for something, no matter if cheap or expensive. I honor my part, so should the other side.
@VirMach
Hello,Please refund the money,Thanks.
Ticket #838637
Please deal with it as soon as possible.
How much money are we talking about?
Billions per hour.
A long long long time...
even if its a dollar, it's his dollar
@VirMach it's been 6 weeks and no reply, i'm getting impatient, please refund the ticket #487647
you had 6 weeks refund ticket open?
Had a Dedicated server that got shut down due to CC fiasco. Its been over 5 weeks and still awaiting for replacement. with the way things are at VirMach, I do not expect to ever receive a replacement server as this point. Good thing was I used this server as my backup data.

Have you had any communication with them? Asking only because I had one of the smaller servers ( so was probably easier to replace ) but I opened a ticket and got my replacement ~48h.
After years of fairly solid service, I finally got Virmach'd. He migrated an idling vps to a SORBS blacklisted IP and now has opened three $15 invoices for it. I just removed my payment method since I don't expect him to read my reply to his tickets before his broken system tries to charge me.
I had opened up a ticket "Dedicated Server Migration" as was suggested. They did respond offering replacement on the west coast, but the specs were not as per with what I had been renting since 2018. They informed me equivalent hardware specs would take 1 to 2 weeks. That has long past and no updates as of yet. Service was paid till Dec 10th. So its a bummer.
I got mine on CentOS and my debian reinstall request has been pending for weeks now. Even offered to pay the $15 just to get some sort of resolution. All the old servers had backups and I moved stuff over pretty quickly so it's no huge issue.
Gotcha, VirMach seems to have responded through LES, as "Your combination of preferences has made it more difficult to fill" all I wanted was equivalent specs I previously had and in West coast. If any of this is an issue he can specify so I can decide.
LAXA031 is back online (again
at least for now
