My VPS on FFME003 get unreachable also some hours ago. It worked for me since 2022/06/29 (I felt myself lucky, because there was many problems on other "FFME" nodes, what I read here).
The VM status is 'offline'. And when I try to start on the SolusVM, nothing happens (stay offline).
lucky me, for now only had 1/6 that still offline (LAXA024), and my NY VPS goes brrrr. iirc i had uptime like 99%++ since 2016, hope virmach get well soon.
Are you able to connect to solusvm for the servers on that node ? I can’t since several weeks and so can’t find what the new ip is.
FFME006
SEAKVM9
SJCZ004
These node has been unable to start for a while.
FFME003
Node down for a few hours, the vps has been unable to start.
SEAZ005
Even vps online, no new IP is assigned, the old IP does not take effect.
Three hours ago it was normal
Just found a sudden loss of connection
Login to the website to check the console
TYOC039
The ip address of 176 was changed to 45
The server is showing offline status
ssh can't login root is incorrect
What is this about?
Forced ip address change without notice?
Vps is offline

Which node? Some are still receiving a lot of data right now and with reconfigurations, benchmarks, they're taking a hit.
There was a problem with the IP of the TYOC039 node, the connection was suddenly disconnected, and then the IP changed and became the IP of the Netherlands
I'm on TYOC039, no recent problems. My IP has always been 45.xxx, though. (changed once months ago)
ryzen ip fix?
i cant login with ssh too
could you show me your interfaces?
/etc/network/interfaces
sure, your ip with XXX

Please help with the refund ticket #116731
Invoice #1447229
No progress on the ticket for two weeks, so if the customer service agent is done enjoying his two weeks of nice vacation, please inform him to process the refund
NYCB54, still usable just around 25-100mbit speeds. Still usable, I just miss my ColoCrossing 10G port
We have confirmed 10Gbps nodes (a few) in NYC right now, they're just not connected. Trying to figure out how to fairly allow people to move to them.
FFME002 still down - at least for me. "Failed! Virtual Server scheduled for restart. System Files Unchanged - Unrecognized Operating System"
It's so disappointing.
thx!
These nodes are essentially healthy and the same as Tokyo. For some reason though, some of the settings for the NVMe don't want to stick in the kernel. I finally got it working for FFME005 so let's see how that goes.
FFME003 confirmed the same issue, I'm trying to get it to stick now as well. I don't know if at some point after being online for a while it drops but that makes no sense.
Sorry for the inconvenience but rest assured it's not a permanent problem.
LAXA024 isn't offline. SolusVM just keeps dropping it and adding it to iptables manually won't fix it. I remember this old bug, I just don't remember the fix. Going to contact SolusVM or try to dig at my brain and see if I remember, it's a fairly simple fix.
That's on reconfigure right? We've been getting the same issue when trying reconfigures. It's possible the new version of SolusVM doesn't do it anymore for older templates. What's the OS?
Yep, no problem logging into the virmach website, or the solusvm control panel.
I assume we're just experiencing some growing pains.
Cloudflare? DM me your IP so I can see why you got flagged and I can reduce the rules.
I'd love that, honestly even 2x1G for the normal nodes would be great. It looks like everything is on one 1G port and I've noticed my Ryzen VMs being a little congested. I'm fine since the peering is better with INAP, throughput is less of a concern. Would still be nice to backup/restore VMs faster though.
This is in the works. We're definitely not going to have dual 1Gbit servers and not use it, we just opted to keep it simple right now. Some locations already have several switches to make it a reality.
It'll only be in our primary locations though. Quick way to tell is if it has a "Z" in the name, if it does, it'll remain 1Gbps for the near future.
Debian 11. I cannot boot, reconfigure, reinstall or even VNC into the machine. Seems to be completely dead to me. VNC gives 1006 error. I did not do any migration but ordered it new just before the migration started.
Can you reset it? You can wipe all data. Ticket #321879
Which node?
Most VMs are up, but I still have 3 VMs appears as "offline", can't boot up or reinstall. Ticket #754039
Appreciate it!
I migrated SanJose (had same issue with auto restart and wanted Frankfurt more) to FFME004 but looks broken can not reinstall/vnc/boot
migration ticket: Ticket #294659
I feel your pain. They sent out tons of mails before the migration and advised a backup.
You should be able to use that backup on another server.
FFME002
TYOC039 After I changed the ip of my host today, the DNS cannot be resolved, all websites cannot be accessed, and the system cannot be updated, even if I update the DNS file.
so did my Amsterdam server worked, for 2 days, and now its dead alost 48 h now
