I have looked at your ticket.

Have you seen my ticket? When will it be processed? i hope soon

  • plumbergplumberg Veteran, Megathread Squad

Woo hooo... surprised to see the storage provisioned... I was in the last batch for the computes activation and was expecting the same. Thanks @VirMach

  • Why was my order cancelled. I waited more than two months for this result? I need an explanation.

  • Did you cancel my order because the VPS activation date was asked after opening the support ticket? ? Then you are shit.

Transfer speed from Psychz LAX to VirMach TYO. Good enough for me. rsync over ssh is the bottleneck anyway.

    +1

They replied through the ticket that I could arrange to move to JP after paying the fees, but there was no information after paying the fees......................And that's it.

VirMach has more and more tickets, so they may be buried in them. I think you can open a ticket in Priority Support section if necessary.
By the way, you may be able to get advice from other users by posting more details here instead of "IP problem". Or, if VirMach has already answered here, someone will tell it to you.

Anyway to enable AES-NI without reinstallation?
Forgot about the hassle installing certain OS then doing something and reinstalling preferred OS after that.
I've transferred quite a lot data and really don't feel like to redo it. :'(

iirc installing a template first will enable CPU flags. Never had any issue asking support to enable those flags too.

Even if I want to install from a custom iso I still have to install a template first in order to have AES-NI enabled? :/

I’ve heard that’s the case. However, I have contacted support to manually enable AES and it always worked. I do believe it will take some time for support to catch up though

don't think it's a good idea to add more tickets right now.
so pretty much I have to reinstall and re-transfer the data? :'(

  • @VirMach said: Just going to announce a little prize since I feel bad about the people who've waited until now for Tokyo.

There's about 200 of these or so left; I've provided a previous update that's more accurate. Fifty (50) of these that get created near the end this week, I'm going to randomly select, and for transparency, I'll post the invoice or order IDs here. I'll then check them and see if they followed all the guidelines, or more specifically if they did not create any tickets asking for personal updates, ETA, and so on, and understood it's a pre-order. I'll double their term length as a token of gratitude for their patience and being courteous.

Did I miss the results and losed it. :'(

Too bad, my IP is banned by our local security network. I want to change an IP, but the change IP button on the control panel doesn't work, and I don't know what to do! thank you all

Mine is from the same /64 subnet. It's a /128
VirMach said eventually all Ryzen VPSes will be assigned of a /64.
That is to say we won't get IPv6 addresses of current prefix :|

  • I got a 4T storage instance in tokyo but it can not install system from template, so I am mount iso and install manually.

I think there are some problem with my instance.

Well the first problem is that 4TB shouldn't have been activated in Tokyo but I honestly can't remember what ended up happening with that, so maybe I'm wrong.

Second issue is expected behavior. Templates don't work on 4TB, it's a physical limitation.

I ordered it today... And it activated after I paid the invoice.

Tokyo Storage is full. Activations went mostly in order and I processed all 250GB as promised. It looks like pre-orders continued into the next month of sale, so there's about 144 services not activated. These are mostly 2TB+ after 3/14 and 1TB+ after 3/16 and 500GB after 03/25.

173 services activated. There's about 1TB space left which I'm keeping just in case 1 or 2 of the ones that created ran into problems and require recreation. Everyone else who is not activated will probably get a ticket asking them if they want to wait longer for the pre-order until we ship off another storage node, or if they want a cancellation & refund, or if they want to activate on Los Angeles instead. Working on that now.

@zots0127 said: I ordered it today... And it activated after I paid the invoice.

Yeah, that was an error on my part, definitely shouldn't have happened. You can of course keep it if you desire.

Since there are still a lot of people waiting for activation in Tokyo if yours was activated in storage Tokyo and you want a refund for any reason, you can place a cancellation request and open a ticket for a refund and we may process it for you, a cancellation and full refund. No deadline for that as of right now, let's say at least one week where we'll honor that.

  • VirMachVirMach Member, Patron Provider

All 500GB Tokyo pre-orders contacted. Options are to reply to get a refund, don't reply and wait, or reply and change to Los Angeles. If you reply back and say you want to wait, we may just close the ticket, but we may also reserve the right to just cancel & refund if we're contacted further requesting updates, etc.

  • VirMachVirMach Member, Patron Provider

All 1TB+ Tokyo pre-orders being contacted now. For this if you want to wait, you MUST confirm your spot and waive your right to a refund, as we'll be building a new server specifically to accommodate you. Default option for these if we don't hear back within about a week is to cancel and refund. You may still activate in Los Angeles earlier if you indicate that instead, and of course can instead opt for cancellation & refund.

  • VirMachVirMach Member, Patron Provider

Clearing out some tickets, and then going to try to get the Los Angeles storage server live/configured next. These activations will shortly follow unless we run into major problems in which case I have a bunch of additional motherboards and disks and it's just a 20 minute drive away.

How about my LAX 500G? When will it be available? Order #568049

  • Hello, virmach hopes that you can process my work order as soon as possible. Currently, the IP is temporarily unavailable. If you need additional IP fees, you can help me create it. I know this is a more troublesome job, but I am also the first Times out here for a request, thanks a lot!
