For all those that the service has disappeared in the billing panel it is being recreated and should show up again shortly.

  • Can anyone who wants to transfer the Tokyo server contact me? I need this product in Tokyo, but I can't get enough

VirMach has stated that there is going to be another sale on Tokyo VPS after things settle down. Not for quite as good a price as the pre-orders, but still a very good deal.

EDIT: Waiting for next sale would probably be faster then transfer, as transfers have lowest service priority.

    It's already back. THANKS

IPv6 works, I just haven't added it for all nodes.

(Edit) There are nodes with it fully functional if you want, I can migrate you, but it's only in San Jose and Phoenix right now.

I do have San Jose and Phoenix service in Ryzen (In fact, I ordered one in every possible region lol). Can I wait until you fixed all the ISO issues (not the template) to migrate?

  • Is iso mount working now?
Id like to install OS manually when my storage VPS gets provisioned.

Using netboot.xyz ISO in SolusVM control panel I was able to install the following O/S successfully.

    Alpine
    Debian 10
    Debian 11
    ubuntu 18

    Hope this helps you.
    EDIT: This is regarding Tokyo.

Hmm. I tried Netboot with Ubuntu 20.04 and the process got Killed because it apparently run out of memory. Guess I'll try Ubuntu 18.

    Thanks

I mounted the Debian 10 ISO in SolusVM and installed it via VNC.

Yes Ubuntu 20.04 failed for me as well so I installed 18 and distro upgraded.

TYOC040 is back online for now. It looks like almost everyone is on the Default CentOS 5.8 and that has big compatibility issues. I'm disabling this and making sure it doesn't repeat in the future with it being set as default but I'd recommend installing a different OS now as these are going into kernel panic and overloading the server.

I powered a good chunk down. I'm going to start creating everyone who got created halfway now but keep in mind it may still fail.

    All done.

    That’s a relief.
Usually template OS uses default byte per inode
ext4 file system and it’ll cause a 1.5% usable space waste as I learnt from here.
Now I’ll just have to wait for my storage VPS to be deployed next week. :)

    Booting ISO -> netboot.xyz -> Network Install -> Ubuntu 20.04 LTS server.

Debian 10 template seems to be royally screwed, I've never seen such high CPU usage from a single VM.

(Edit) Not all of them, 2-3 VMs.

Following up on this, are netboot and Ubuntu 20.04 ISO not available on RYZE.SJC-Z003.VMS ?
I wasn't able to boot the server if I choose either ISO.

I'll try Debian or other ISO later, but I don't want Desktop version of Ubuntu...

There seems to be a problem, installed centos7 +5.4.188 kernel, using 1024m SWAP
Not running any software, but goes offline at about every 5 minutes
Need to boot manually to boot
    Tokoy39 Nodes

Seems not so lucky with TYOC040. Tried re-installing CentOS 7/AlmaLinux, mounting Debian 10 ISO, and rescue mode, but all have failed.

Anyone on the same node has achieved any progress?

I tried that and it shutdown in the middle of the yum update during the install. When I restarted it the kernel panics. So if you got CentOS7 to install and then upgraded to 5.4.188 kernel you got further then me.

You are missing subject on this.
By it, do you mean "All Virmach pre-order", "specific service you ordered in a specific location" or something else?

I think San Jose, Seattle and Phoenix are ready and others are either in transit, waiting for setup or experiencing some delays due to numerous issues on Ryzen and/or NVMe SSD (or some other components)
