Invoice #1398608,Tokyo, may I join the beta tester?
VirMach is currently not adding any more beta testers in Tokyo and is waiting on more servers to arrive and be set up. More pre-sale users are expected to be set up no earlier then Wendsday, although it may be a little later then that.
Of course nothing I said above is guaranteed and is just an estimate.
It's a miracle Node 40 is working right now, that wasn't really expected. I still have new SSDs shipped out for replacement. But I'll look into it, there's definitely some spikes I'm trying to pin down to see if it's still benchmarks.
Should be better now, a bunch of people booting into bad operating systems and then just leaving it frozen. Powered these off.
我这里大部分时间出现在东京联通路由上,后面的IIJ和xtom反倒问题不大。
Wtf is the point of posting the same benchmark over and over when toy already know what hardware it is?
Pretentious people :0
This is not hostloc, you are supposed to speak English here.
I mean, it's much better to see real discussion than insulting other people using a foreign language...
I've been scrolling through trying to locate an update on Los Angeles storage - I know Tokyo is the hot topic, but any news on LA @VirMach ? Thanks!
VirMach is too busy, so your patience is greatly appreciated
Lol - are you his secretary?
Moderation team disagrees.
@VirMach I want to compliment you on your communication. Clearly a lot is going on in a different way you expected, I'm waiting patiently for the Amsterdam location but because of your proactive communication I do not worry (yet :P). Looking forward to use it though!
Please activate my machine and let me test! Order: #1397078
The application for activation for the test is already closed.
I am not VirMach, but I am sure he will not give you any special treatment.
If he does give you a special treatment, he will have to give the same to other users, his workload will be doubled.
Also, most of users who ask for special treatment generally don't read the notes, which causes a lot of trouble.
All you can do is monitor this thread and don't miss the next chance.
i have re-install OS 20 times...
i think only "Linux Almalinux 8 X86 64 Gen2 V1" is working properly
i wanna debian11, but there is no ssh after installation
now i try to reinstall debian11 under Almalinux 8, it shows installation is successful, but in fact there is no change, installation failed, its just change ssh password
TYOC039
Debian 10 ISO works fine. You can mount it and manually upgrade it to Debian 11 via VNC and enable SSH later on.
By the way, my VPS on node 40 sometimes shuts itself down for no reason.
Some info please, like private message the IP, I can check logs.
thank you
let me try node39
Has anyone tried Debian 11 non-legacy version? Just added recently.
Looks good!
TYOC039 + Template: Linux Centos 7 X86 64 Minimal
Linux Debian 11 X86 64 Gen2 V1
seems to just reboot change root password (384MB Ram on TYOC039)Before re-install Debian 11: CentOS 7 (root PW Ony9....)
After re-install Debian 11: CentOS 7 (root PW 65bS....)
same issue
now, i use "Linux Almalinux 8 X86 64 Gen2 V1"
reinstall "Linux Debian 11 X86 64 Gen2 V1" just change root password
You can mount iso images from SolusVM panel
(Click
Additional Tools > VPS Control Panel
on Server infomation page)https://solusvm.virmach.com/reinstall.php
"No media found for this virtual server"
Installing now
If these issues are happening with 384MB RAM unless someone confirms the same problem on higher RAM let's assume it's because of the RAM, as I didn't even expect Debian 11 to run on that.
i have another machine with debian 11 running xray and nginx that only takes 120m of memory, the kernel is linux-image-cloud-amd64
For the record, Debian lists their minimum requirements at 512M.
