Yet here I am, chasing ghosts of black fridays past
Does the torrenting policy vary from country to country?
I would expect so.. each contrary have different regulations
I tried it, there was not 16TB, just upgraded cpu
Thanks, bro. I think the days of 16TB Club are over.
I got an upgraded CPU and IPMI...
Upgraded CPU & IPMI Club doesn’t sound as exciting
did someone in France lately got their server?
i still wait for mine
Some of us have to settle with Tier II Gigabit, IPMI and upgraded CPU club.
Have at it, but I feel like it won’t catch on.
Not trying to start a trend so Imma pass. You want to give up the 16TB club? I am just a PM away.
I don’t think it’s going anywhere, but I’ve already got a waiting list building.
Am I on top in that list?
I guess Poland seems to be the best one if ya wanna get some torrenting in
Did you sell your Poland one?
Its still up for sale.
Given how many VPN providers have a torrent server with OVH in FR, and how many seedboxes they host I doubt that they really care.
oh i think he meant poland is the best option for linux isos because of the 10g downlink
You are not.
well then, that sucks. SYS isnt allowing transfers anymore anyway
Oh I see. This could make sense indeed.
So this conversation is moot?
I mean yea, ppl buying for the only purpose of reselling I can see why they would stop to do transfert
Just ask for a refund if you don't want it.. or better still, think before you buy
Wow my sys2-sat32 finally got delivered in RBX
4x2 TB Disks, IPMI, D-1541, 10g downlink
Out of all places you could say this
Lucky! Me didn't get 10gbps
but i think you joined the 16tb club, arent u? Buuuh!
Please refrain from posting rumors, it does not appear to be a new / general rule. I just got a reply, that the targeted account of my transfer is not an EU one. They will process the transfer, if the receiving party creates a new account within their subsidiary. So transfers still seem to be possible.
Cheers.
//Edit: Removed irrelevant part
Go ahead and give it a shot then. I'm sharing my experience. And it's corroborated by @dev_vps and @mrclown
I have two services on my SYS account. 0 tickets.
