It does not matter. Nobody is here to judge an act of good will, no matter how small it is. A donation is still a donation, and that is all that matters within a Low-End community.
My donation was $25.
The tax bracket I'm in allows me to get back 100% of my donations in federal tax returns (I don't know the annual limit but it's at least $100).
There's no need for $1 donations.
A few years ago, my former roommate, who has left the country, asked me to sell his old computer.
It's a 6-year-old bulky DELL all-in-one that nobody wants, and he demanded no less than $200.
I told him that the only way to get $200 is donating the computer and getting the money back via state tax returns, and he agreed.
Thus, I took the computer to our maker space, and got him a $250 tax deductible receipt.
Good luck for him to generate $250 of Arizona state income tax in the next 7 years, while he does not live in Arizona.

In less than three months, I accidentally the server that I received in this offer.
Last week, I decided to retire my 10-year-old ssh-rsa key, and created a short and sweet ssh-ed25519 key.
I wanted to install it onto all the servers, so I did:
I thought this command would replace the authorized public key, but it actually emptied the authorized_keys files, and I can't SSH into the server again.
By the time I discover this, it's too late.
SSH password authentication is disabled, so I had to fix each of my 15 servers over VNC.
The correct command should have been:
Yeah, SSH itself supports shell redirection if I write the command in quotes.
Adding another
sh -cachieves the opposite.For unknown reason, I cannot login to Virtualizor with my password.
I tried password reset, but never got the email.
Therefore, I cannot fix this server.
Now, this server is up and ping-able, shows green on UptimeRobot.
There's no service deployed and no ports open other than SSH.
I can ping but cannot login.
It will idle until it expires next year.
any reason to manually echoing new key to authorized_keys file instead of just using ssh-copy-id command?
The intention was to insert the new public key and erase the old public key in one step.
I still haven't received my VPS lolz.
Seems like I missed your PM. I did created your account earlier but due to how Virtualizor handles authentication it doesn't work. Fixed for you.
