How to get a free VPS?

  1. Have at least 20 posts + Account created before 10 June 2021
  2. Make a donation (any amount) to any local/international charity organization
  3. Send me the proof of donation* and provide me an email address for your Virtualizor account to be created

* While not compulsory, it will be great if the proof includes the amount and the organization/fundraising name

As some of you might not have Credit Card to purchase a Boomer.host deal, this is a good opportunity to get it by doing good deeds.

For beginners, here are some organizations you can try:

Hope that this can encourage the culture of giving back to society and make the world a better place! :)

Big thanks to Boomer.host @ezeth for providing the Free VPS. Note that free VPS is while stocks last.

If anyone decides to keep it, what will be the price for renewal?

That will be tricky and will need @ezeth to answer that.

I'm thinking the price for renewal will be the same price that I had in my offer - $8.38/yr

@FAT32 delivered VPS as advertised. In the spirit of giving, I donated another £10 to another charity in the same area. :)

In just 10 hours, the total amount donated is already more than USD $138.23! :)

Thanks to all the supports and note that there's still a lot of those free VPS to be given away

  • adlyadly Veteran

There should be an annual charity drive - similar to Black Friday but VPS for donation - much better than give away for nothing. Thanks for starting this @FAT32.

  • I have no interest in the VPS offer but I would like to mention some important online services that usually get overlooked when talking about donations.

    Archive.today
    Library Genesis
    Sci-Hub

And of course the people that create the tools you use a lot. Especially if it's just 1 guy, GitHub sponsor them or any way to help financially.

I always prioritize them over large companies that already get massive donations from governments or private groups and foundations. Nothing will happen if they don't get your 50 bucks but on the other hand that $50 can mean a whole lot to others, especially those that live in low income countries.

I am not sure about the legality of Library Genesis / Sci-Hub though. But what you mention about the Github sponsors make sense.

Next 2 I'll donate £5/each to a UK charity, provided they meet other criteria and provide good reason for wanting the service; if long term user (>= 12m) then extra criteria waived. If next 2 choose to donate, I will also donate £5 to UK charity in return.

Edit: within 24 hours of post.

    (Assuming OK with @FAT32.)
