Nope.
I just changed the port numbers from Seafile and nginx config. It worked out of the box.
Maybe instead of wasting your time on strange people in this thread you spent it on actual provisioning and then there would be no need to looking forward to 20 tickets. Also, if you cannot deliver something - don't promise 7 days, which is today by the way.
When I raised it earlier, you said oh let's wait 7 days, what is the justification now? Low margin? Common HH pro bono lawyers, your help is needed.
I care because I like when people stand by their promises. Cannot deliver? Don't promise, say something 'we will deliver when we feel like it'.
Has anyone got LA nvme?
I care much because I paid money. What I have to prove is not your concern.
Unfortunately no
I personally volunteer for my orders to be delayed an additional week if it helps Abdullah focus on fulfilling the orders for people who would cry about it. I'm not going to lose millions from it, and whether it is delivered tomorrow or the day after... meh, in the overall scheme of things the difference is insignificant.
There is no Abdullah here. Wrong thread.
Not if you ordered from the same HostHatch that I did
This is all philosophy. Clearly, nobody will die without VM being provisioned a bit later but the point is different.
Agreed, you are saying it is important to you, I am saying it is not important to me. Therefore if HostHatch want to deliver your VPS on time so that you're happy and as a consequence mine is delayed, then I am fine with it.
Once again, this is not the point of making somebody happy and somebody not happy (Pareto principle in action
) but about fulfilling promises. If you cannot deliver - don't promise and it does not matter that somebody paid $240 for 10TB or $9 for a small VPS.
Once again, I would not be unhappy if my order was delayed.
There's a provision for this in the "Warranty" section of HostHatch's terms (same as for any provider). If someone complains tomorrow that their VPS was not delivered as promised, I'm guessing HostHatch would be willing to stand by their warranty and say "apologies we did not meet our promise, per the warranty section of our terms, here is a refund of your remaining term, sorry it didn't work out but let's end the relationship".
Everyone has a warranty section because everyone fails to deliver to someone at some point.
Well done, pro bono lawyer
Thanks. Your approval means a lot to me.
please PM me directly with your ticket number & email id. let's see where's your order stuck/ and how can we help - but again, if the ticket is riddled with ABCDEFGXYZ questions on free upgrade/downgrade/free this free that/ upgrade this/ upgrade that - it will be reviewed on case-to-case basis and that certainly will delay your ticket response - and this has nothing to do with the promises which HostHatch made/ and you clearly argued about. I'll be for an hour from this post.
Guys, I have a question.
/ - 20 GB
/var - 20 GB
/swap - 2 GB
/home - the rest of the disk
The second case is useful only in the case of reinstalling the system and not losing data from the home directory, or this case provide some kind of performance? For example, if a person looks at data using NextCloud, and the data is on /home, then / is less loaded?
Btw, just noticed, that when you encrypt a disk by LUKS (when installing OS), then you lose disk performance in sections 512k and 1m. At least on my machine it goes like that.
Hope I didn't make any mistake in ordering, since my ticket is on hold & Billing Credits show a wrong amount 😅
Didn't get any order provisioned but I believe good things take time
Fingers Crossed
@JohnFilch123 avenue/channel of communication has been provided and 20 mins past now
Not only it's entertaining to see people being ignorant and making a fool out of themselves but there's also informative technical topics being discussed, and that's always good to have.
On the other hand, @cdrive could use a Host Rep tag.
What do you think @raindog308?
I did not open any tickets since I am a little bit more reasonable than other people and patiently waiting for 7 days to elapse. I never ask for free upgrades because I always pay for my servers and have a little bit of dignity. Technically, you have today to provision it, so in order to avoid criticism from your pro bono lawyers, I am willing to wait for tomorrow.
Also, I would prefer to avoid publishing any tickets here since your colleagues may publish it here, which I consider as a very poor approach to problem solving.
@JohnFilch123 whichever floats your boat, mate. avenue/channel of direct communication to expedite the processing review has been provided to you, and clearly, you did not understand my statement wherein IF one ticket is riddled with ABCDEFGXYZ questions, it will be reviewed on case-to-case basis and this is not within the 7 days timeframe as you've had argued about.
Just to be clear in the event if you have issue, still,
1. tickets with ABCDEFGXYZ questions will not be provisioned/upgraded/downgraded within the 7 days timeframe.
2. You may PM (PRIVATE MESSAGE) me of your ORDER ticket id & email id (does not mean to publish it in the thread), but you chose not to PM.
I rest my case here
I am not sure you are reading correctly. You promised to provision VMs within 7 working days. Today is 7th working day. Now you are talking about tickets. Does it mean that everyone must open a ticket to have their VM provisioned?
I understand I can PM you but previously your colleague has published all PMs including the nickname. Does he know anything about privacy? This is the reason why I do not want to PM you anything, learn how to treat these things first.
Good, rest your case and start provisioning, it is the last day today.
P.S. Also, there is no need to put time pressure on me. You may be here for an hour but I may be somewhere else.
@JohnFilch123 Which service/package did you purchase?
clearly you didn't read the sale instruction/ how-to-order, aye? but you were able to extract the 7 working days wording.
strange! oh well, again - whichever floats your boat, mate
Does this mean that all orders with zero upgrades/downgrades/extra requirements will be provisioned today?
Sure buddy.
any ticket id that I might refer to with zero upgrades/downgrades/extra requirements which had not been provisioned for you? again - do PM me with ticket id & email id and let's see what's the context of you bringing to the table
Why not just wait since it's still within the provisioning timeframe? Some people have had their servers provisioned without needing to ask or post their order/ticket numbers.
If you've done what was required to order/purchase, then just wait, because the more questions asked, the more time they'll need to spend unnecessarily.
