Nah. You're just delusional if you're thinking anything good can come out of that website.

I have seen in the past some pro-social things start on chan (and similar) sites and make it quite big. That being said, you’ve already written off all those platforms because you dislike it. By all means, please continue to dislike it, it doesn’t harm that platform, but it certainly harms you personally by the fact it’s up.

If you feel they’ve done something unlawful, please go to a court and file a lawsuit.

Or, be like the current democratic left and start a “mostly peaceful” protest... Frankly, it feels you wanted a party of lefties to support your opinion and you got insulted that hosts are standing their ground and following law of the land.

Every host should follow law of the land. The less we follow and remove the ability to speak freely, we’re no longer a free society.

Unfortunately, leftists don’t like to remember their own history. They sit there and call Republicans racist, sexist, evil, etc... but they’re merely expressing opinions.

If we stopped the world every time someone got their feelings hurt or disagreed, we’d all be screwed forever.

That being said, if you don’t like the content, don’t visit it, don’t read about it, don’t even think about it.

As a host, we’ve yet to receive any legal complaints for customer sites, and we get dozens of threats for us to kick customers off, our response is very simple:

“If you can prove it violates the law of the land, then we will ask the customer to remove the content(s) in accordance with our terms of service and acceptable usage policy.”

All said and done, prove it breaks a law or stop complaining they’re expressing an opinion you don’t like.

Btw: No, I'm not defending 8xxx (nor Hamas). What I defend is their right to speak their mind. And we all have the liberty to simply ignore them (as I happened to do after my first and only visit when I perceived 8xxx as a steaming pile of sh_t).

If all of us so smart and know how to deal with such methods, why do we have professional trained, and educated people in different ministries of defense? Why each of country has their own national defense ministry, secret services, and so on?

Average citizen must to admit, and accept, that he/she is a part of group of people (country) and shares all or most of the ideas and principles of that community where the guy grow based on compassion of how life organized in other communities for getting objective view of the world, and he trust leaders who manage a life inside such communities. Love you or hate you, you forced to do it, otherwise you will not be a part of such system and will be enemy of such system that does not belong anywhere else.

I wrote that above, with only one idea in mind -> there are a people who know much more than you, they have institution, schools, theoretical material, experience, experiments, and results from very big period of time which not available for everyone usage, and such people protect you while you do not even know that some activities done in background. You must to accept that.

The same as you accept that a hosting provider can do things much better than you, and for you it's cheaper to pay some money, instead of organizing whole infrastructure that is required for you in limited enveriopment.

The same related to for example doctors. Will not you cure others because you have your opinion, is not it?

All that I'm trying to say - the world very complicated and hard. There are no simple solutions, or solutions that apply for everything.
There are no rules at all, except one - POWER. Real rough, power. Lifes, damages.

And if your "clan" claim someone's as enemies, and you see that your enemy do destructive actions to your clan, and you can be potential target of your clan enemies, better to stick to your clan opinion, and delegate security questions and such decisions which looks simple for you to a people who understand real threat from such things.

Propaganda - can turn your life into hell. If you did not faced it, that does not mean that's not exists.

@jar I wouldn't use you or any other no-name email solution anyway based on trust and security factors alone, so I'm not sure what the point was in that statement.

You start with an ad hominem? That tells more about you than about @jar.
Oh and btw, jar's email service is very well known and largely praised; in fact I don't remember a case of someone calling his service sh_tty.

@jsg said: The constitution is the highest law of the land, period.

Yes it is, but it does not mean it is/was morally correct. (Slavery, Women's Rights Movement, etc)

    a) one of the main purposes of laws is to not have some individual's moral views lead to punishment of others. If so desired (and most countries do) basic moral standards can be encoded in law.

    b) Hypocrisy! What you really want is basically the right to an inquisition against those with different opinions - but at the same time - all the protection the laws provide for your group.

    c) Nearly any and every society still has what basically are slaves. The real "progress" is that they aren't called "slaves" anymore but for them the basic equation is largely the same. Just two crude examples: not all but many prostitutes and people who work for a few dollars in jails.

    d) If the majority in democracy wants e.g. women's rights then they can get it - without "mostly peaceful" gang terror. And btw, what about the rights of those you despise, whom you beat or shoot or whose shops you set ablaze?

    e) The highest law says that everyone can speak his mind - what makes you think that you and your views and morale are above the constitution?

Since you don't have the balls to say this on a public form (like what 8Chan/8Kun is), and DM me this instead, I'll make it public.

Thanks for the example of how you really tick. And don't you call for the police and the law if you get doxed!

    Well, that's disturbing.
I suppose the mods are happy with veiled harassment and dogwhistles.

For real. He’s kind of harmless though but I think I’d distance myself not in the name of censorship but more like how I reject fraud orders lol

    so what I understand is:

It is better to censorship right wing or extreme right discussions that in many cases do not end up in shootings.

It is not about extreme right or right wing. It is about violence. Censorship is an ineffective measure against violence.

Apply better gun laws instead, care about your citizens and educate them.

Extreme right and left exists all over the world. Extreme right discussions do not correlate with shootings.

Freedom of expression should not be censored. You are free to do whatever you want as long as your freedom does not affects anyone else's.

Close one site, one community. People will still talk, will still express themselves. Another community will emerge. This is just political nonsense.

Yes, this is why in addition to closing 8chan, you must also arrest all of their users and jail them forever.

  • Nice to see SJW censorship is criticised by many respected members of the community. I will extend my idle BuyShared account, may be buy some mail service from @jar and will definitely keep @SpartanHost in mind if I need additional hosting.

    Waving is considered a microagression.

  • Political correctness is becoming like cancer in this age. What's worse, some people are using political correctness to castrate everyone. Don't put your "ethics" on me and everyone.

ethics is good, but the fear is that we will destroyed by what we love. Truth is finally drowned in the tediousness of the world.

Holy crap, I'm old...citing a USENET personality who last posted there in 1998.

Gun laws only work in the areas that can be enforced, and where the honest man is honest.

I have a lock on the front door to keep the honest man out, but it doesn't keep out someone from busting it down when you're a target.
