@SpartanHost just gained a lot of popularity points with me, and I don't even know what's on 8chan or 8kun these days but it sounds like these guys follow legal requests instead of retweets.

@jar I wouldn't use you or any other no-name email solution anyway based on trust and security factors alone, so I'm not sure what the point was in that statement.

@jsg said: The constitution is the highest law of the land, period.

Yes it is, but it does not mean it is/was morally correct. (Slavery, Women's Rights Movement, etc)

which antifa chapter are you apart of?

Since you don't have the balls to say this on a public form (like what 8Chan/8Kun is), and DM me this instead, I'll make it public.

Response: Words don't bother me, but when crime is manifested on the platform, and innocent people are killed because of it, that I will have a problem with.

Typical left, blame a huge community or group of people for one idiots action. If we cancelled everything after someone said an offensive thing that one person felt offensive, we wouldn’t exist as a society with anything.

Doesent seem left to me.. More like typical social justice warrior.

    This video should be relevant.

My brand name is bigger than anything you’ve ever done, Ryan, and that’s not bragging just a fun fact in light of your words. That said, still good to know that you’d skip it. Wouldn’t do business with anyone you represented either, since you’d terminate customers for political disagreements (you’ll call it more but you’ll exaggerate the facts to accomplish it, the motive being what I said). I know that because you’re still upset about things posted on 8chan that were also posted on Facebook and Twitter, but you’re nowhere to be found asking for them to be canceled. You only bully when you think you can win. Same reason I left DigitalOcean, I put my money where my mouth is. Fuck you and everyone like you. That’s my free speech exercise.

Thanks for this post though, @SpartanHost will make money from me because you posted it.

In my book, SJWs do not stand on any political sides. They are neither left nor right, certainly not center, either.

They belong to their own group, which is "Perpetually PMSIng People" or PPP, or Pee I'd like to call.

Not to mention it’s actually illegal. I’ve never supported illegal activity and from the sound of it neither does @SpartanHost .

Spamming should be punishable by banishment or even capital punishment.

All listen to this troll. He speaks the truth.

Also: I used to be on the right side of the political spectrum. But if xchan and 8x are the norm of what the right is nowadays, I must be extreme left wing. And I didn't change my political views for the last eons.

Kudos to @SpartanHost for being a neutral provider and not getting into useless political discussions. They are a hosting business, not fucking activists.

I see that you usually post deals for black friday, so I will make sure to buy something from you this year and try your services.

If your response is to start with a pissing content about your success (which has many manys to be measured), then you've already lost.

@jar said: Wouldn’t do business with anyone you represented either, since you’d terminate customers for political disagreements.

It wouldn't be for political disagreements, for that I just simply tune out (like Facebook and Twitter some days). When people do genuinely get hurt by an individual actions, that's what I have a problem with. My moral compass would prefer to sleep at night, knowing my servers have not participated in meetings and planning of (mass) bloodshed.

I don't run a hosting business anymore, and I stopped working for a hosting company that abused my knowledge until I left.

@jar said: That’s my free speech exercise.

You may think you have free speech on the Internet, but there is no rule enforcing it, so good luck with that.

  • I never knew ddos-guard . net ever existed until I stumbledupon this post and now jumped their ship with a free plan :-)

If you had facts to back up what you’re saying you’d have a reason to contact the police and they’d have a reason to serve legal papers to @SpartanHost. That you’re not is all I really need to know to draw the conclusion that you’re stretching the facts over your narrative instead of letting the facts draw their own.

That’s exactly what the political censorship types do. They create the narrative first and stretch the facts to fit it. Ignoring that they could stretch the facts in the same way to for the same narrative against every major social media outlet, but they conveniently don’t.

  • I'm gonna try a different analogy for size:

Ants in ones house. Normally you'd kill a few and move on with your day, and eventually it will get worse if you don't take care it, by then you'll need to use bug spray to kill them and the colony they are housed in, to not deal with it ever again.

  • jarjar Patron Provider, Top Host, Veteran

I wonder why you need so many analogies. Facts running dry?

  • deankdeank Member, Troll

    How lovely.

The smell of PMS. This is what I troll for.

  • @jar said: instead of letting the facts draw their own.

Have you looked at the various trouble 8Chan/8Kun has caused by existing? It makes 4Chan look clean.

Why would I? If you had facts that backed up the very serious accusations you’ve thrown against them you’d have contacted the police and, if you still made this post afterward, you’d have posted those facts.

But I’ve seen this show before. Looks just like the big all hands meeting before I turned in my resignation over censoring Alex Jones (who I don’t even like).

  • @jar said: Facts running dry?

Nah. You're just delusional if you're thinking anything good can come out of that website.

I don’t need people to meet my expectations to think they have a right to exist. I support everyone: gay, straight, white, black, democrat, republican, left, right, socialist, capitalist, and any other label you can think of. My customer base reflects this, but leans more toward the left (despite them all knowing that I lean a different way, they know I personally love them anyway) and I'm quite proud of it.

To date I'm not aware of the feds reaching out to shut them down so they're either not breaking the law, even with all the wild shit that happens, or they believe the site is valuable staying online as a honey pot for the loons.

They've been booted from Cloudflare, Voxility, CNServers, and likely many others. To date I've not heard of a single one of them getting any sort of law enforcement notice. At least those 3 vendors all caved to pressure.

CNServers has a history of throwing random people out (we had that issue) and Voxility is an EU company so they're concerned about their local anti hate speech laws. Cloudflare is a US company though. Infact, because they've censored at least the dailystormer they had to settle a lawsuit due to the precedent they set.

Infact I hosted dailystormer for almost a year and the only firm to ever reach out to me were newspapers/SJW's trying to do a hit on us.

Hateful speech sucks, there's no reason to hate anyone for their immutable traits. With that being said the first amendment is to DEFEND ALL SPEECH, specifically speech you disagree with.

Yes, and I don't have a canadian location partially out of fear that our Social Justice Prime Minster will get his multi coloured socks in a knot over whatever decides to host with us.

I've said it once, i'll say it again. If you're hosting things that are speech sensitive, host it in the States.

    LOL

I might even have an antifa chapter somewhere in there, will neither confirm nor deny.

  • @Unbelievable said:
there are limitations to freedom of speech. It is not censorship when people and companies choose who they associate/conduct business. There is not a universal right and requirement for all companies to accept all customers.

You mean the baker should not bake the cake for what ever reason :)

  • @techhelper1 said: My moral compass would prefer to sleep at night, knowing my servers have not participated in meetings and planning of (mass) bloodshed.

Interesting you would say that. Do you own a pair of Nikes by any chance? Or have an Apple device?

Because no matter what BS campaigns these companies run about social justice, they are utilizing child labor in countries like China and other developing regions to exploit cheap labor for higher profit margins.

Just because you disagree with someone else doesn't mean they should be cancelled out. Are there vile and illegal things on the internet? Sure, and I support those being shutdown for being grotesque violations of human rights or the laws of the local regions they are being hosted in. But if there aren't any rules being broken and you're just trying to silence someone else who has a differing opinion than you, take your virtue signaling and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Same. I remember shutting down a website that was a blog literally reiterating in post after post that “all women are property and should be raped at every occasion” (paraphrased but I actually have a copy of it archived as I always keep records of such actions). There are plenty of times to shut down customers and when they’re making open and direct calls to violence (not this 2016-2020 “every opinion I don’t like is an indirect call to violence” or “supports or doesn’t disavow someone who supports someone who is friends with someone who shared an ideology with someone who once committed an act of violence” junk) is definitely the right time.
