@bogdcutuu I understood theyre missing 1 gigabit switches at RBX but not SBG... anyway, I give them until next Monday time to deliver.
Oles:
we respect the order of the KS-16G but it will take more time for 2x1TB/i5-2400
OVH has been improved algorithm of the robot that delivers the servers. now it is FIFO. It was not because of the FIFO TODO + the algorithm runs very basic
Comment:
A shame! All those who have been canceled while they ordered in the first end up waiting a mid-October ..
I ordered at RBX (because it's closer to me, and I plan to run some gameservers on my mSP). I sent them like 5 messages on Twitter already asking to have my server delivered with 100Mbps but they didn't answer.
Thanks
@tux Got your KSxG yet?
Since GRA is going to be THE premium location for seedboxes I'd rather have my mSP delivered in RBX :-)
@pechspilz they dont allow seedboxes
New KS16Gs are btw at RBX ! Why RBX and not SBG?
Not yet.
Hi. I haven't read the last few pages yet - sorry if this has been said before. You can get your mSP delivered on a 100 mbit switch temporarily, until the gigabit switches have been delivered to OVH. You'll be upgraded once they're installed.
All you have to do is call OVH, explain that you'd like your server installed on 100mbit until it's possible to upgrade. If they complain - just tell them Oles (CEO) has said this is possible. Voila, your server is ready within hours of calling OVH!
@spxify yeah but 1 gigabit switches are expected tomorrow/friday
How are delivery times on Kimsufi G4, page says 72 hours, but I don't believe that.
"expected" says a lot, I just made a ticket asking for my server to be delivered on 100Mbit, if I don't get a response in 30 mins I'll escalate it, I'm tired of waiting
OVH confirmed that if your paypal status is completed you will get your servers delivered.
Where?
Could you please give a source?
My impression was that once you escalate it, you wait even longer.
I couldn't wait any longer - bet your ass I wouldn't have my server before Sunday. I needed it badly, thus called them up... Support is still horrible, but at least I have my server now.
Can anyone give me a 16G ip for latency test?
@xaki try proof.ovh.net new ks16gs are delivered in rbx and old orders in gra
That site doesn't work properly in terms of latency
,
I get 150ms to rbx and if I ping to a VPS I had on the past in that datacenter, I get 50ms...
So I think I found my issue. I ordered the K2G from ovh.ie , got a invoice from ovh.com and a payment confirmation from ovh.us. Now when I first got into my manager, the forgot password sent me to ovh.ie. I've been submitting tickets to ovh.ie but i'm guessing they can't see the stuff from ovh.com or .us? Best part is I can't open a ticket to the .us side. But honestly it doesn't make sense that I ordered from .ie and got billed from .com.

If this is not the case (e.g. software problems), your diagnostic may be accompanied by a quote, for which you will be charged £20.
Sneaky. Very Sneaky. I don't think that was there yesterday.
If you order from ovh.ie all invoices and payment confirmations will come from ovh.ie. Responses to ovh.ie support tickets used to come from ovh.co.uk but the last time I opened a ticket was 10 months ago so they may changed changed that.
A support ticket in google translated dutch :P
You would think it would work like that, not sure how I was different.
That is unlikely, you see.
To many a person credibility, reliability means more than a sequence of letters on screen.
Personally, I won't trust company that can change rules during promotion and cancel orders not matching new restriction, but already accepted as valid. Add to this pool of distrust the locked forums (ovh.com is open for international users; now please tell me why I, OVH customer, may not register at the forum?). The same concerns about their silence on Twitter etc when unpleasant questions are asked.
There are people that will do anything to receive something for almost nothing. Actually, this thread is also an echo of such voices. They will be trashed again and again by certain low-endians, but they still will walk over the same rake.
However, people that wish to establish business relations to a partner that can be trusted, might think twice after learning about this story.
However, this show goes on, so let's continue to watch it.
Both my orders were cancelled and 1 is waiting a refund.
Opening it to "the world" is highly unlikely because there are many countries OVH has never accepted orders from (Australia/New Zealand, all Asian countries, African countries with the exception of Tunisia, Morocco, and Senegal) which is why there has been a booming market for OVH resellers who buy from OVH at regular retail prices and then resell to people in countries OVH doesn't accept orders from.
i can confirm this. ovh said 3 x ks2g orders that I placed 25-26.7 and confirmed via paypal will be delivered.
