You haven't noticed that where you work a lot of things that aren't suppose to happen do happen?
It wanted a 1:1 disk to ram ratio I guess hehe... ahhh when these servers im buying finally get delivered Im not going to know what to do with em.
Make sure you record and post it for all to see.
The script looks like an AI that really likes 10GB
Needing something with more SSD and RAM.
Believe it or not, I've only now discovered the page
virmach.app! For some reason, I thought that there was an app called "virmach" and I didn't want to install another app! I must be crazyHopefully you have turned down your volume and are not photosensitive.
You mean that virmach.app will emit sounds and take photos? I hope not!
It does emits sounds, but the page also blinks in red and other colors.
I haven't heard anything yet, but this is okay!
I'm not looking at the page the whole time.
It speaks out the details for each deal briefly. Quite useful if you just happen to have the tab open in the background and are working on something else. But there was no mention of it on the webpage and the first time it happened I got a fine jolt
. The page also flashes red a few times when a new deal comes in.
Okay, when looking at the tab, it did flash in red when the offer changed. However, no sound (and my volume is turned up). I'm browsing from a machine running Slackware, so this may be the reason, but normally, sound works. Anyway, no big deal
I am on Ubuntu and have also been noticing no sound.
Worked on Chrome 78.0.3904.97 on Debian 9. Maybe you have some adblock/pihole thingy blocking the audio server. FAT32's tracker also has an audio notification but that's opt-in
. But the Buffalo takes the cake in his app.
Is the audio in virmach.app also powered by Onesignal? Noticed my adblock is blocking that.
I had to allow audio autoplay for the tab in Firefox. Anyhow, very useful when the tab is open in the background.
On Linux Mint I have sound. Using both FF and Chromium.
Probably using responsivevoice.
Yeah, I saw that in JS console as well. Says
6responsivevoice.js:106 Voice support NOT readyIt still says that even after unblocking oneSignal, so I guess there is something else at play here.
Maybe it has something to do with the following message:
RV: speechSynthesis present but no system voices foundI'm on Firefox 68.2.0esr.
No adblock.
Also no sound on @FAT32's site after opting in.
And the tabs aren't muted.
But it's okay -- I'm not really in the mood to investigate :-)
Is that a setting somewhere in the config file?
Maybe something to do with missing system voices as Unixfy mentioned. Tagging @FAT32. He might have a look when he wakes up.
He said he is using ESR version, not Quantum
I see: so @FAT32's page also emits a voice and not just a beep?
Yeah, so it's probably due to a missing component for system voices.
sorry, I didn't notice that
Firefox Menu -> Options -> Privacy and Security -> Permissions -> Autoplay
If white listing the sites in FF does not work then its surely due to the missing voices. Who is the dev for the other website? Maybe he can chime in.
Okay, good, I went there and unchecked the box which disallows autoplay of sounds. So I'll see what happens in 2,5 minutes.
(I have both virmach.app and @FAT32's page open in background tabs.)
@VirMach what are the limitations on CPU and resources for this specific deals? Link? thank you Sir
