    That's a (supposedly old) OVZ VPS where it's totally normal to get weird and ever changing numbers.

    FWIW, on my KVM based 1 TB storage VPS from HS I get something like

    KVM VPS said:
    /dev/sda1 1008G 7.0 G 960G 1% /

    which is normal, there is always some loss due to GB vs. GiB, partitioning, etc.

    So the above problem is at least largely not with @cociu but with OVZ.
