Balls. PM Katie. Now.
Thanks.
I need to finally sign up over there I guess.
instructions unclear ...
(You know the rest. Omitting further details out of respect for Katie, and doc's waiting room.)
So, this statement also extends to every client I have made a personal connection with that decides to compliment us in public is also a shill.
Any client who decides to post in the forum, or advise others or even gets a mod role is also a shill?
Simply because they are associated by way of being a client and publicly posting a how to and a few benchmarks on a new forum?
@dahartigan Please provide a link to the thread that encouraged you to try our services.
Because I asked him to be. He created the forum also if that is a problem for you.
No trend @corbpie just stating the nature of the behaviour I have noticed from you over the times I have paid attention to your posts when I see them.
You are still a client of mine and one I am still happy to have, I just wish you could share in what is trying to be built rather than trying to pitchfork it at every opportunity you come across
I think it all starts from here: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/153678/black-friday-specials-daily-kvm-prizes-8-locations-nvme-ssd
Then he giveaway the VPS: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/154142/giveaway-hostdoc-kvm-in-tx
Which results in #GiveSomethingBackDecember.
@HostDoc
https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/153678/black-friday-specials-daily-kvm-prizes-8-locations-nvme-ssd
That's the thread that started it all for me, that resource pool!! And then I won the giveaway which was awesome, and then I gave it away because at that time I didn't need it, and then I got a yearly AU KVM which was priced too tempting, and from there it's grown.
EDIT2:
@HostDoc is the OG #GiveSomethingBackDecember
4 vCPU in USA. Make it now doc, I can't sleep.
Done.
Hostballs is the place to be @eol. You are late. But welcome.
I see you are still actively shilling for Hetzner?
Did you expect anything else?
Now I can't sleep after reading this
I only have 3 prem vCPU, I won't be able to sleep knowing there's another vCPU running around in the wild, longing for some prem idling lol
you should blame the doc!
get the prescription pad out doc, you're going to be busy writing up some scripts..
Too many @HostDoc shills in this thread.
Go to sleep, clearly not going to happen.
Reporting all these shills!
Oh wait ...
And a Hetzner shill!
If they post about you on here us much as he does, mod on your forum and create content that is beneficary to you -> yup 100%
If the thread is just a deal one dont worry about it, i thought you meant thread discussing your forum and content.
So it was actually him that built it, not you? Im glad you admitted that.
If you are trying to point out me bringing your business down that is again false, i have told you this before also. I would be dissapointed in myself if this was my attempt at that.
Back to my comment 1 if he gets a host rep tag i couldnt care how much hd stuff he posts on here, i wanted clarity not thread derailment.
Ok.
U sleep first.
Or is it going to happen?
You guys are lucky, I only have 2 prem vCPU in single instance
pills for shills ...
EDIT2:
@corbpie you make some good points but maybe take them too far I think.
Hopefully you and the doc will both take a deep breath and shake off the urge to get too personal in terms of critique. But whatever ...
I've been meaning to ask though -
What's the deal with "grape" ...?
Deal? Where? How many cores?
3x7700Ks ready for you anytime mate
What more can we say? We get your point @corbpie, if I was a member of his staff and worked for him then sure I should have a provider rep tag, I agree. The issue is that I don't work for him, and we have no business relationship. I could walk away from the hostdoc community and there's nothing changed, there's no hidden agenda, no shilling, just something you clearly don't understand - a sense of community and pride for a good startup host. What's wrong with that?
Okay. Shall I also make @FAT32 a mod and then he too will reuire a host rep?
Honestly, it is ridiculous.
But in way of being fair, I will let the mods decide on that one.
@dahartigan pays in full for his services with us. He does not get paid for his contents, his time or his mod status on the forum.
If it is deemed he needs a host rep tag for that, I will fire him.
Is that good enough @corbpie ?
Then I would have 4 tags in LET lol, anyway I agree that it is hard to differentiate between shilling and recommending.
I believe one of the @corbpie intention is that @dahartigan can be part of your team if needed because he promotes a lot about HostDoc. This is not a bad intention and just a suggestion.
Let's not spice things up and chill guys
TIL @FAT32 is a mod on LET
congrats bud!
