Is it now novadedi?
Yes, due to Incero events.
But nothing else changes.
Its added, it only displays the servers which are current in stock.
The paginator has such a feature already, not sure if we need that.
Would be nice to add a column with acceptable payment methods per provider using small emoji icons.
Millenials... Just vomited.
NovaDaddy would have been nicer.
Reminds me to much at GoDaddy, so nah.
I feel sorry for you using a text-based web browser.
Tbh I personally find the site lacking this exact feature. UTF-8 has characters for all the common payment methods including emoji and raw text.
godedi.com is actually regged by them. Go figure.
Go nova, @Neoon I am buying novadedi for SEO
From metadedi to novadedi 😂😂
I just bought novadedi dot com and redirected it to you know who.
i'm just kidding!
Great work, thank you.
i feel nova today.
So @Neoon we got scroll to top?
Thanks for a such useful tool.
Haha, just in fact, persistent vomiting is bad for your stomach:
"The paginator has such a feature already"
I used it and found it useful, that's not something I say much about products/services found on LET these days.
Small end of the week update:
Not all payment methods are listed yet, since a lot of providers actually never list which payment methods they do accept. Will be sorted out next week.
I immediately tried the dotcom and thought Neoon learned his lesson and registered dotcom first. Now I learn he learned nothing at all. At all. SMH.
I tried metadedi.com and it points to the same place as metadedi.net as I'd expect. It serves a metadedi.net certificate which gets a certificate error on the .com domain. That's annoying but it's just a configuration snag.
It can be fixed with an SNI certificate: LetsEncrypt used to issue those, then they stopped (temporarily?) because of a security problem, and I don't know the current status. Worst case it can be solved with a second IP address for the .com.
Hmm. Does not compute. I suppose you meant novadedi.com? Also, it redirected to the .net with https just fine in Android chrome.
Oops yes, novadedi.com. I still get the cert error from https://novadedi.com/ but if you just enter "novadedi.com", that does a non-encrypted http query which gets a redirect to https://novadedi.net/ . Since there is no TLS before the redirect, that avoids the cert error. But it would still be good to fix the cert.
Can you add digitalocean?
It was supposed to be used http only but, tls has been enabled on all vhosts now e.g .pw, .info, .com, .org.
Thanks for letting me know.
You know that the project is for dedis?
Make another VPS only. That is also great idea.
Hi. Thank you for such a useful tool and providing it without a cost. The fact that it's ad-free, affiliate-free, I'll give you my credit (and a glass of virtual beer). Also, I love the clean, minimal, and lightweight interface. However, it would be nice if you could change 0.032TB into somewhat 32GB (slow brainer like me tends to mistakenly interpret such info at first sight). Also, any plans to add Asia providers to the list? How about an option/column to convert the currency (of our choice) on the fly-ajaxified.
Sounds like a good idea, but I will stick with dedicated only.
Well, the idea is to keep everything on the same unit of messurement, so no switching between GB and TB, and keeping everything at TB.
Well, send me the asia hosts, yea that is a good idea, will be added.
@Neoon Awesome progress!
Not quite sure about Asia providers but I'm sure they are all quite expensive - I've personally just tried LeaseWeb and HostUs. If you could also scrape their test IPs (looking glass) would be great to check the ping of that location instantly without leaving your site. Meaning: less bounce rate for your Google Analytics and SEO will give you a higher rank (or maybe that's not true; I'm no Dr.SEO).
Looking forward for the currency converter. For now, I just use my broswer addon or just directly google it "USD to ____" and manually put the number in, can be very tedious.
If you have time, perhaps you can do a lazy load list (like e.g Facebook timeline) - load 10 first, then another 10; that could make your site faster and use less memory. So that we don't have to reload and leave when jumping from page to page (if the list is long).
If you're going to keep it at one unit, GB is probably better. 0.032 is too weird a number.
