Janushost has been around quite some time. No experience with them, but at least they've got that behind them.
@twheel We also can do KVM VPS in Atlanta, if you're interested. We haven't publicly released our KVM plans yet, but I'm sure we can work something out that will meet your pricing requirements.
Leaseweb now has a location in the Equinix DC in Ashburn, VA and they're having a sale on their KVM VPS and Cloud servers this month. They'd probably be a better choice performance wise than AWS, and they are one of the largest and fastest growing hosts so there is no chance of them closing anytime soon.

Sorry about that. Their VPS data center is in Manassas. They have peering at Equinix Ashburn.
