    The ATS PDU will fail and is the single point of failure. As in that thing isn't that reliable compared to a normal PDU and would kill all the servers connected. A+B on the servers is the proper way to do redudant power with separate feeds into separate PDU connected to the server via redudant PSU.

    Any outage on this ATS PDU would kill the entire strip regardless of any A+B.

    That's why you don't use the ATS as the power source in a rack. At the day job, all our racks have A/B power with 2 0U PDUs per rack, one for each feed. The ATS, if needed, is wired between the vertical PDUs and is used to power the switch in the rack and older single PSU servers. Racks are cross wired in pairs with all servers using bonded connections going to the switch in its rack plus another to its partner rack switch.
