Got my atom server! Thanks @cgs3238 & @VortexMagnus

Which spec did you end up with? :)

It was the one that got transfered from @cgs3238's account so 2GB & 250 GB. I doubt anyone would let go the 4GB ones anytime soon, I'm not that lucky :)

Everything is up and running now, 1x 2gig and 1x4gig. Thanks for the Deal guys.

Just got my server provisioned at the UK DC.

Thanks a lot for all your help @VortexMagnus! Jumping through all those hoops to pay that invoice was totally worth it!

OMG the Atom came up priced at $85 a quarter, and someone actually bought it :D An $85 Atom :D

Isnt that the normal price before the coupon @ManofServer ?

    Edit: yeah, it is: "(30/11/2016 - 01/03/2017) $85.00 USD" Coupon is 70$ off for 15$ a quarter.

I just got one finally as well after randomly refreshing the page from time to time.

    Yay.

Damn I don't have the coupon code since I'm a bit late to the party (thought it was included), would have snatched one otherwise :D

Just out of curiosity - what was the correct coupon for this offer?
When I finally got in and saw the $85 price tag I search for it without success and when I guessed "BLACKFRIDAY" my cart was emptied before a "critical database error" message.

My servers were delivered! I still do not know my specifications, I still could not see anything calmly.
As soon as I can bring the benchmark for you guys, colleagues!

    • I tried to order one more and simply forget OVH, before seeing the delivery of mine, but it was automatically canceled by the system even though I got to the Paypal screen.*
Just out of curiosity, was it my bad luck to cancel the order as soon as it concludes or are you limiting, @VortexMagnus?
Ps: The canceled invoice order appears in my dashboard.

Thanks, I'll bring some news later.

I just went through the first few pages of the thread and found the codes in case more Atoms appear:

    Quarterly coupon: ATOMCATQTR

    Annual coupon: ATOMCATANL

    Hi,

No limitations at all, must have been a strange kick-back from the system, it's happened a few times.

If you log in to your dashboard, you can see the exact specs of your servers under each label too :)

If anyone misses out who has posted in here BEFORE this message and was actually trying, not someone who is just late to the game, I will help you if you miss the boat.

Help me @VortexMagnus. People say the stock randomly reappears but my reservation in queue doesn't update at all. Ignored all around. You can tell me to stop whining and f**k off, I will understand that. But after investing so much time into pursuing this, I want to hear some definite answer.

    Thank you.

For the VPS? We allocated a certain amount of servers and capacity for this offer, it's KVM VPS and we aren't going to overload the nodes. The capacity has, simply, been reached. We have tried to help as many people as we can.

But honestly, the number of requests we received AFTER we'd already sold out of 150, was probably around 1/3 of that number. We just didn't have the extra capacity at this price to help everyone, as much as we'd have loved to.

I'm crying like a baby. really.

@VortexMagnus In any way no wanting to abuse your patience, but I have another question, the cancelled purchase died or I can pull it again to finalize via paypal?

@Yura I also tried a lot of vps in the two locations offered to test, but also I could not and I have been working 48 hours and in this forum, badly stopped to eat ... hehe ...

The competition was very great, I believe only the most experienced have managed.

I think it will have died. If it went cancelled, the stock will have been re-released. But I can check.

    Yes.

To give you an insight. Not quite at $5/month, but we are going to completely overhaul our UK offering and one of our USA sites to bring them in-line with some super competitive levels.

Our parent co has just signed a new agreement to expand in to three more cabinets in Toronto which will also become a focus city for us.

Cheap dedicated, is about to get better. This has been a good test for us too.

    Yes, very happy!
My only doubts will be regarding the guaranteed bandwidth and network stability and tolerance to attacks type ddos over time ... But that only time will tell us, obviously.

It's a good feeling not to feel hostage from a single company in a niche, how I felt and now I will have the opportunity to rest a little of the economic line of the ovh.

About the order inexplicably canceled, when / if you have time and can take a look at my canceled order, I would feel honored. I did everything right * desperately to try to capture it, of course * but as I said, I had even logged into the paypal account, I saw the invoice and it simply broke.

I'm happy to start a relationship with several companies that I had not negotiated yet, such as Vstoike and quadhost. Too bad they do not seem to have taken so much advantage of the open door for customer capture "how" ~Vortex~ ... Because it's already day 30 and Vortex is still managing to make noise, that's impressive!

Slowly but surely :) the issue OVH face, they grew their locations too quick.
