Got this email from them regarding the referrals and my "chunk" not being upgraded with more RAM.

So? That is not an excuse to straight-out lie.
They claim that they are 'over capacity', instead of just straight out saying "sorry, you didn't pass our automatic test, let us have a manual look at your account". They are dishonest, period.
i dont know, maybe they have some list of requirements and rejected guy failed on some of them...
maybe... But not an excuse to lie though.
Still waiting on dat confirmation... not in a rush or anything but I first heard about these guys when they were doing the free 512MB chunk over a year and a half ago and want to try them out

Why even bother with this, when you have top notch stuff practically at same price (prometeus for example)?

I had to Google them. First query was nothing but the movie made under the same name, second search (prometeus hosting), the website was nowhere to be found. Not until I searched for "pometeus vps" did I finally find their site. Not that that is any sign of quality of service, I'm just tossing it out there because I had no idea who prometeus was, and it was almost a hassle trying to figure it out.

Time to unveil a little secret... When I and my wife decided how to name the company we decided for "prometheus", then we filed for the company registration and when we got the papers after a few days we discovered they did a mistake and registered as "prometeus". A sign of fate we thinked and kept it :-)
