Plans for a new provider.

Hello guys. As you may know Time-Taker Hosting closed down due to special funding reasons. I decided to return, but I have to think of a name.
The one that got into my idea is Zeus, but the zeus.com is already registered, so I am going to ask you for suggestions.

So you deadpooled one business and you are starting a new one?

Right, summer is knocking on the door.

  • Please no.

  • Time-Taker Hosting? Huh? Why did you pick that name?

I'd facepalm, but my hands are are perma glued from all evening theatrics on here.

    That name...

Not sure if you're actually serious about this: http://timetakernet.info/ttgrave.jpg

    Okey

    This

    Just

    Made

    My

    Day

Everybody fckd me about the .info domain, so I decided to shutdown this and start again.

  • If you couldn't pay your hosting bills then, how in the heck are you going to do it now? That's not "funding". It's lack of operating capital and lack of sales.

    How about phallusvps.com?

    It's available...

No one can fault you for what comes later.

@pubcrawler, the reason I couldn't pay the hosting bills, is because the only guy that signed up, left because of all my LET posts, so I decided to start up from scratch and forget all history.

    Who forgets the history ?

Lot's of folks in here with good memory.

  • @Radi, just can't repeat history. I mean at least it doesn't sound like a real fail. You didn't take the money and run or deadpool technically.

I'd look into VPS reselling to get started if I were you. Come up with something compelling. Competing here on bottom pricing, well, good luck. Tough market to just spring up in like a weed.

  • Why people made this business so easy to start?

  • RadiRadi Host Rep, Veteran

    Just a question:
If I am reselling, can I send VPS offers to LEB?

    @Radi I know someone who does ;)

    But seriously. No. Just don't.

Zeus.com is registered? That's odd. Should try and GoDaddy back-order it.

BTW: Time Taker? Your company name alluded to the fact of slow response times...

SnapVPS, RobustVPS, etc - these allude to good things.

SpiralVPS, VPSQuake, vpsFSCK, etc. - these allude to bad things

You act like this was a while ago. Might as well have been yesterday. No one signs up in two months and that exhausts your entire funding? Changing names won't help. Of course no one wants to sign up after this: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/8350/help-in-running-a-host

If you can't start a business, don't. I don't know why that's so hard for people to understand.

Edit: No wait, ONE MONTH. You were in business one month at most. Wow.

It looks like, I am the one getting war on me, everytime I post threads...

No war. You started a company and when you weren't successful after a month you ran out of funding, now you want to start up a new company. You don't see anything wrong here? Where's your commitment? Where's your pride? Where's your confidence? You won't make it to May without it.

I want to forget what happened, and start as there was nothing before.
Edit: Forgive me if you don't like it.

  • jarjar Patron Provider, Top Host, Veteran

Fair enough, but how long can you fund it without clients?

  • RadiRadi Host Rep, Veteran

As long as possible. If this doesn't succeed I will quit hosting forever.

    Radoslav Petrov?

Where are you from? Which country

  • I defer to @jarland for schooling the hosts of summer.

You might want it to be a distant memory @Radi, but you have a soiled experience here prior. NOTE: Create a new account and persona here and start new :)

  • RadiRadi Host Rep, Veteran

    Guess. :)
    It's Bulgaria.

What are your goals for success? How much time will you let pass before you evaluate and quit if your goals are not met? What are your plans for marketing?

You aren't committed. You aren't passionate. That's perfectly fine, but it means you can't do this. If you have no drive and no goal other than fame and fortune, you've already quit you just don't know it yet.

My goal, is to be honest, and provide something simple, and cheap(as cheap as I can).
I know I am not the best, but I want to also learn from this.
