    Well, Salvatore made them, I thought he did a reasonable amount, but looks like not...
    I only put them on.

    Yep. Too bad KVMSSD is out of stock, would be nice to use it on that one.

    I can't help but snicker, "Okay guys, now that you are happy with dozens of VPSes each of you bought.... The Romania move wasn't actually a joke!~"
    (actually I'd look forward to it, the only cruel thing would've been tunnelled IPv6)

  • @Freek said: VZ0 for €6.53 / Yearly (LFMAO)

    Laughing Fucking My Ass Off? You laugh while fucking your ass? ;-)

  • 2DALYH9EU8 still work on KVM 55% discount.

    There are really good Easter Egg and April Fool deal.

    I still can't give me any reason to order another vps now.

  • @rm_ said: KVM5 (maybe others too), annual.

    only works on that.....not a bad price though $34.62 annual = $2.88 a month...

    Or how about waking up to:
    Server not found
    FireFox can't find the server at www.prometeus.net

    That would be a cruel, cruel April's fools joke!

    It's like a Swiss knife: Multipurpose! Think out of the box!

    Their next location is Romania I'm guessing.

    I'm guessing too. Seeing since Salvatore is based in Italy, they host a lot of Italian Radio Stations and they are Italian RIPE members, I doubt it that they will move all services away from Italy to Romania. A second location on the other hand seems much more plausible.
    Plans date back to August 2012;

    The joke was never about moving everything, only the VPSes for the masses business :)

    @Freek said: Server not found

    FireFox can't find the server at www.prometeus.net

    We do get some attacks, so that is at least possible.

    only found a %45 which is not so good btw.
    So I prefer not to buy
    I have to go to sleep
    but what was the %90 code ????

    Missed out on everything :P

  • gsrdgrdghd said "If you run your own DNS it would be a great location for a DNS server."

    I run my own DNS and I would never, ever host a DNS server at Prometeus!*

    *the only reason I wouldn't host a DNS server at Prometeus is because today's 1GB SSD Xen I picked up is my 7th VPS at Prometeus and I make it a rule not to host my DNS servers on the same networks/datacenters as my websites. :)

  • @netomx said: I got 90% discount :)

    I got 55% off....for a yearly KVM. A pretty decent deal in my book....

  • WTF?

    I don't know if this is a joke for the April Fools Day or real.

    Romania + Voxility? There's a crappy network with tons of problems and home to tons of problem people (Voxility). Actually had a provider use VOX in Romania in the past year. Bandwidth was fine in Europe, but back to the US sucked. Cogent then seemed to be refusing any traffic from their network which resulted in some long and far out of the way routing in Europe.

    That said, any other provider in the LEB market would think VOX was a great bargain. But, Prometeus should know better. So I call it a prank.

  • Yeah if real, I'd drop Balls/Prometeus in a hot second.
