This also affects BT Broadband and Sky Broadband email in the UK, as they also base their email for customers off of Yahoo's platform.

Damn, my primary private email is on Yahoo! I've been using it since before Google came into being.
I have not used yahoo for about 10 years, to me it seems about as relevant/current as using AOL as an ISP.
Used to use it, found gmail to put less strain on my eyes. The Yahoo UI was HORRIFIC

Ive been using it since M$ bought hotmail XD. thankfully its no longer my primary, I have institutional and private domain adresses.
Also VERY relieved that the hacked system wasnt storing any emails, that would be a MUCH bigger problem for me XD
Apart from the fact that if you dont pay an email provider they dont disconnect your service. So unless you actively closed your account, and they actually deleted the data, you are likely just as affected.
