What private information? Any link to it?
IIRC it was a picture of a FedEx label (that is said to contain the exact physical address of someone).

And another e-mail today. Looks like that they really want to push sales.. ;-).
Didn't they say a few months back that their LA site is coming up soon? Wonder what happened with that.
I subscribed to their newsletter to hear about the other locations specifically, which never seemed to happen.
I thought coming soon was a registered trademark of FranTech? or do I remember wrong?
No. Soon™ was (is) a ColoCrossing trademark for IPv6 deployment. And you better don't piss them off - Their Director of Contracts will send you a dangerously elaborated letter for this!
Ah yes, I confused that - sorry!
They still alive, and now coming to NYC.
Looks like they have abundant the LET market segment.
VPS servers are still cheap.
Sure move into a location thats already packed. Seems their move to L.A fell through, which is rather disappointing
Wait, are you trying to imply that LA isn't equally if not more so packed? If not, you need to go review some... there are tons of cheap LA offers around here! (IMO too many, its becomes as 'mainstream' as OVH at the rate its been expanding). You can't possibly be having an issue finding a server there, if so just look through a few of the offer threads and you should be on your way...
If they had to choose a new location, especially to target Enterprise (which I would assume is their true goal here) NY is probably one of the more ideal choices. Low latency to Europe, East Coast and Midwest.... by hosting in LA you get what... fast routes to Asia (maybe?) while your routing to Europe depending on routing is higher latency because a lot of routes go back across the US to Ashburn, VA before going to Europe. In short, I think LA would have been an awful decision for an expansion, they likely made the right choice and will have good sales in NY.
my 2 cents.
Cheers!
