    May well be then. I'm on the phone and didn't notice the logo. Silly me.

    AMC logo, so I'm going to guess The Walking Dead.

    Correct. Atlanta always makes me think of The Walking Dead.

    I'm sorry but there is quite a difference between "large scale power delivery" (ac electricity) and electronics.

    Large scale = lots

    Electronics = things using "lots"

    The more pieces involved, the more things there are to go wrong. Then, electronics can respond differently to minor power changes that can occur on a switch-over. This is budget service, that's not a bad thing - it means you're sacrificing stuff to save money. If you want the absolute best "power" money can buy, you'll pay for it.

    Judging by your indiscriminate usage of these terms leads me to believe that you have > no idea of what you are talking about

    I cannot categorically deny being bufoonish.

    I have machines running at 55 Marietta without issues, guessing it's isolated to this one power provider, not the entire building.

    Isn't Georgia Power the only electric utility in Georgia?

  • PieHasBeenEatenPieHasBeenEaten Member, Host Rep

    Yea my company's rack at another provider in the same building didn't go down. Smooth transition to gen power and back to grid power was flawless. Now delimiter all your fail safes aways fails now why is that?

    Can't place where that picture is from. Looks familiar but I can't place it.

    Not sure on that one exactly, possibly? I just asked my provider about it and they said their UPS's kicked on fine and that's why I didn't see an issue. I'm just below Delimiter.

    I believe Cachet gives you an unique reference number in case of an error. Give it to mike and he can check the server logs.
