Jlphost / ITNetworkHost scammer
Okay, so this is the continuation from this topic. Opening a new one about the scam so it can be better indexed by Google.
I finished a first trade with a trusted member of this forum for $118 in BTC. He can confirm this here if he wants to. Then, JLPHOST sent me a PM asking for my Skype: I told him I already finished a trade but offered to do a smaller one with him.
I provide my Skype and one account named itnetworkhost adds me instantly. We talk about doing just $60 and I promptly send the money to the provided PayPal. Just at this moment, the JLPHOST sends a PM here on LET telling "he can't find me on Skype", which is stupid because anyone can verify now that my account does exist. He also mentions a new Skype account which I add after the scam and you guys can find with the rest of the screenshots.
Facts:
- Only one Spanish guy had my Skype previously from LET. I nearly never use Skype, so no one knew it besides him (friend) and this scammer had my account.
- The itnetworkhost.com domain is using NS1.JLPHOST.COM and NS2.JLPHOST.COM.
- The two names are clearly related: https://archive.is/CcPI3
Screenshots:
- PMs here in LET: 1
- Conversation where the scam takes place: 1, 2
- Conversation with the "legit" account trying to deceive me after the scam: 1, 2
And I think that sums it up. Let me know if I missed something, going for the PayPal dispute now.
EDIT: definitive proof that he's the scammer. That's the email where I sent the funds.
Comments
My skype = JLPHOST
My Paypal = [email protected]
You did a trade with neither me nor did you send a payment to me.
If you can prove either of this which cannot be done all of this is irrelevant.
I did no such trade with you.
@Nyr, the PM screenshot is not a PM screenshot, but a Skype one.
Well, to be fair, is it not possible that the scammer registered an account to look like his company? It is after all only a gmail account. Anyway it sounds like there won't be any issue with the Paypal dispute.
I can confirm that I sold Nyr some BTC and there were no problems (yet! though; in fact Nyr paid Paypal fees and stuff.
Edit: nvm see http://site.buildvisit.com/www/jlphost.com !
Edit2: oh and I also didn't understand about the Skype account earlier because the PM conversation image was posted incorrectly the first time. But really Nyr got friend request immediately after PM'ing Skype account name to JLPHost.
Thanks, fixed.
@Nyr also if you may provide a screenshot of the paypal payment as well as the users name you sent it to that would be very useful because my name

Pulp fiction starts..
So @Nekki just confirmed the story before I had time to go trough all of the information. That's the paypal address from the scammer, which matches @JLPHOST's.
@JLPHOST you have 30 minutes to "amicably" send a refund.

First post in the thread, note the contact email address.
@Nyr please post screenshot of PayPal payment to [email protected]
According to below link, that address IS related to @JLPHOST:

It's pretty clear @Nyr is right, sorry you got scammed man. I hope this lowlife scammer gets what he deserves.
Yeah, and some OTHER scammer just happened to find Nyr's private Skype account a few moments after he sent it to you AND he divined to create a gmail account with a company name that is directly assiciated with you.
Screenshot: PayPal transaction to [email protected]
I like how he only shows the "primary email" in his screenshot yet it's not big enough to see the other one, if it wasn't him then why doesn't he screenshot his PayPal although by the looks of it, he's been rumbled by Nekki.
Well no payment was sent to [email protected] so not sure why you are requesting a refund from me, perhaps requesting a refund from the person you traded with, which is not me.
@AnthonySmith I know you're dying to ban tdale, if you haven't already you might have another provider to ban shortly..
Yeah, really. Even without all the evidence tying him to the payment email address, this is the worst-planned scam ever.
Boot JLPhost outta here. Scamming scum
@JLPHOST give his money back !
My biggest problem is not opening the dispute for $60, to be honest. I have more trouble trying to understand why can some people act like you. And honestly, I feel sorry for you.
Edit: and thank you strangers (and not so strangers) for your words. I know there is still plenty of awesome guys in this place
haha, what an idiot @jlphost
I cannot give something back I did not receive man.
Mate, give up. You've been tied to the payment email address definitively not once, but twice. Just give @Nyr his money back and save what little face you have left.
So what payment ties to [email protected]
JLP, you stupid or something? Even its not your BUSINESS email accounts, that gmail email is related to your BUSINESS !
[email protected] was the address payment was sent to, and we have tied that address to you.
Because you can have only one email address ... Seriously, stop
Is @JLPHOST 12?
Was not sent to [email protected] which is the only paypal I associate with we no long own anything having to do with itnetwork.
https://archive.is/fS9xK in case the link between the scamming email and JLPHOST vanishes.
@JLPHOST: @Nyr just gave you 30 extra minutes. Let's go though some facts!
I will keep the thriller until the end. Gotta wait! jlphost itnetworkhost
You are 23.
Arlington and Fort Worth, TX are awesome places, home of 2 people which communicate very often.
More facts in a few! And I save THIS SPACE for the best, so the visitors from GOOGLE will know the good part if you don't return the money.
Seriously man. This has been given enough already. Both @nyr and @nekki has provided enough proof just to show that both JLPHOST and inte thingy runs by same person.
