    I don't understand how this isn't already at this point where GVH is entirely banned from the community.

    Whilst I personally think they should be completely banned as the reps are just Jonny's sock puppets, this does not appear to be anything to do with GVH (for once).

    1. Jon is banned, i.e. cant defend himself (and even if not banned, he would not do a good job at it anyway);
    2. He has many enemies;
    3. The spam is 30 a piece, annoying but not effective with any individual with half a neuron.

    Conclusion: Easy target, good for fun.

    Or, Jonny is hurting badly enough and is loosing money without the LET marketplace and has resorted to other measures to get his offers in. I would go for that as he is shady and that someone with LET/CC have said "oh, ok, do it" because your bills are behind and we can't let you back on the site.

    I don't believe Jon Nguyen is stupid enough to do this. I strongly suspect this is a (rather brilliant) false-flag campaign.

    I mean, if you wanted to manufacture outrage against GVH, could you possibly think of a better way to do it? I sure can't.

    Look at the people who got spammed too. Not people who are likely to buy from GVH.

    The stupidity of it smacks more of SZ1 than Jonny Nuggets.

    If you want the notification icon to go away get someone to PM you a few times.

    Yup ATHK sent some to me and it worked. I wonder if just one PM will work, it might be enough to reset the counter, or make the software recount unread messages.

    Some unread messages were removed when the user was deleted or banned. So people are stuck with the annoying notifications.
