For the current time it'll be remote hands.
I'm looking to use easydcim once released.
We use VM and BT for peering at work across 10-20 sites, I have to say BT's is probably faster (even though I'm a VM fan of such!) but even so they're not too bad as some people suggest
"Hello India, our 10GigE line is down?"
"Sir, please switch off the modem at the wall, wait two minutes and power on again."
@kcaj - thats about right, but you missed out the 15 minute wait, then the fact that when you give them the circuit number they can't understand you, then they ask you what type of DSL you have and when you explain its a wavelength service, they tell you to call another number, which comes right back to the same person!
Alright; here's the absolute specs of what we have currently, we'll be getting more in.. in private you can private message me to ask for some photos of the area we're working in..
Q6600 4x 2.4GHz
2GB ram
160GB 7.2k SATA
$35/mo
1 IPv4
Alright, couldn't get the Dual Atom's though got this;
ATOM 230 @ 1.6GHz
500GB Sata HD
2GB ram
£8/mo
1IPv4
Dual xeon 1.6Ghz each
2GB Ram (Can be upgraded)
3x 146GB SAS drives
$43/mo
I'd take an Atom 230, pending more info on your DC and a little more insight as to how the offer is viable, as I don't want to lift and shift a bunch of stuff from a Kimsufi only to have to move it back again.
I'm going to PM you Nekki.
Before we go and take everything to install.
I must ask. Any more requests?
I don't have any e3s yet but I'm on the look out for them
Some E5450 servers (maybe even dual?) would be nice for a reasonable price. Plenty of them kicking about for £200ish nowadays. Only thing would be power consumption
@MSPNick would you be offering Colo?
Interested in this also.
Hope the hardware is not refurbished Good luck and the prices are awesome
Yes. From £56/mo but that's unconfirmed pricing
They're refurbs. But I'll test everything before live
@MSPNick, hit me up when you know what the pricing will be.
No worries. Are you in the UK?
Yep.
Private messaged you both my personal skype contact as we can talk :-)

Hello.
Just to let you know that we have our first server up in the UK.
Colo is going to be first.
Then these servers.
Then we are going to be buying some e3s
Hope we will see plenty more providers offer UK locations
If anybody is interested. £56/mo for colocation.
Or. For month for free just pay rack and stack!
instead of getting those Atom servers would it not have been cheaper getting some good pentiums (such as the G3258) which rivals most AMD FX Processors.
The atom will be slightly delayed as I am currently building some of them
Or even some celeron g1820t's, they have those at scan.co.uk. Low power. cheap and decent performance.
No ETA
