They are not bad. I am still kind of working the best plan of action to put these together. I have about 4 units at the moment of Atom...

Not sure if we are too late to the party, however we can do:

    • Intel Core2 Duo E4500
    • 4GB Memory
    • 500GB 7200rpm Hard Disk
    • Up to 8 IP addresses
    • 10 TB Bandwidth
      For 45 pounds per month

If anyone is interested in colocation, we can do some pretty good pricing would just need to know the server / specs to confirm what it could be done for.

    Nick,

This wasn't made within the offers section and therefore I took it as you were wanting to consolidate all UK dedi offers into one location.

If not you made this ticket within the wrong forum.

The rest of the member base engaging in this thread have managed to grasp the plot, I think you've made an honest mistake.

@kcaj, its advertising outside of the offer forums. Other providers should be welcome to provide their services to form a discussion or the thread should be deleted.

I initially opened this thread to tell people about what we're doing.

I'm not selling in this thread, I am telling people of what I am / can do.

I can see this de-railing quite a lot now - I will most likely post up offers after I am completely finished..

    Hey @MSPNick,

Not a problem. We've chipped in as well to say what we can do :-)

I've heard httpzoom don't like competition in the UK before somewhere?

@vmbox, there is plenty of competition and its welcome, we are probably one of the smaller UK providers around. I just do not believe members of the forum should be advertising, outside of offers, without allowing other providers to chime in.

The original post appears to be asking potential customers for feedback on their new product range. If you aren't happy this or any other posts made abides by LET rules i'd recommend speaking to a moderator.

@vmbox is was advertising plain and simple, therefore for balance all UK providers should be posting their products within this thread.

@httpzoom either your reading comprehension skills are subpar or you missed the beginning of the thread where @MSPNick said:

Now, I'd like to get some specifications from you guys to what you'd actually like as lined up already we have these..

He was clearly asking for feedback, not starting a UK Dedicated Server thread.

All your doing it just making you a your brand name look stupid, by just dropping a Post in between an ongoing Topic on one subject.

Technically it's still marketing thread in between regular offer/marketing.

    ie.

MSPNick said: AMD OPTERON 2352 2.1GHZ CPU

    2GB RAM
    160GB HDD

We will do this machine at $28/mo

    Quad-Core Intel XEON 2.00 GHz

    RAM: 6 GB
    500GB Sata HDD
    This one will be $35/mo

Will work on a storage node :-)
