  • @Steven_F: TOS & privacy policy & Legal notice seem to be not working - is there any place where we can read your TOS?

    Thanks

  • got ButOhSoAmazing instantly.

    Happy Thanksgiving 2014!

EDIT: Btw your email goes into Spam somehow :/

    Nice. Go Mailgun?

I was referring to the welcome email from your system. Had to manually unflag it as spam though.

  • @ranaldlys said:

Yeah, we use Mailgun (Rackspace's outbound e-mail service) for all outbound e-mails. Can you just shoot me your e-mail address in a PM or open a ticket, so I can investigate?

  • How many cpu cores?

    256 & 512 packages have 1
    1024 & 2048 packages have 2

  • Steven_F said: I may have to put out more 2 GB VPS and remove a bunch of the lower packaged ones. O.o

    You should.

    Thanked by 1ehab
  • ordered 2. waiting for activation

  • now its very painful not to get one.... some voice inside is saying get it .,.. get it

  • Just released 16 new 2 GB Thunders. The node is very powerful, so why not?! Heck, I just realized that this will probably bring us up to about 90% capacity. Accidental underselling? Woohoo.

  • Almost clicked the "Complete order" button on that Lightning 2048 offer but I have already 3 idling VPS in LA, haha... Thanks through, this is a really nice offer!

    Why not 4...? I don't understand. :(

  • great offer, grabbed 1 :D

you just offered 1 location , 1 location for 1 provider was enough :p

  • why not instant setup?

    We manually verify every order.

  • very tempting offer, at least something that deserves to be called 'thanksgiving' ;-)
sadly I really don't need anymore idling ovz boxes in us...

  • Steven_F said: We manually verify every order.

Can you send the welcome and other mails to the inbox? I sent you my mail in PM. Thanks.

Oh, Man. Why ?? I already have 4 idle boxes, can't stop Myself from getting another.

My anti-spam marked the emails as possible spam as well (not enough to convict) - the IP address 104.130.96.2 was listed in l2.apews.org (Mailgun's range, listed as anyone who is spam-friendly) and the DKIM signature was considered invalid (public key: unsupported version, which is odd).

It's probably my fault, we were missing a NS entry. It's probably from when we moved to CloudFlare.

It is a 1 Gbps uplink.

  • @Mahfuz_SS_EHL It's definitely gigabit, see below from my existing box.

However, I can't tell if the cores are capped at 600MHz - or if @Steven_F wasn't joking when he said it's seriously undersold.. and speed stepping just hasn't kicked in.

    CPU model : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v2 @ 2.10GHz
    Number of cores : 2
    CPU frequency : 600.000 MHz
Total amount of ram : 1024 MB
Total amount of swap : 1024 MB
    System uptime : 2 days, 4:39,
    Download speed from CacheFly: 73.8MB/s
Download speed from Coloat, Atlanta GA: 37.5MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Dallas, TX: 41.6MB/s
Download speed from Linode, Tokyo, JP: 6.92MB/s
Download speed from i3d.net, Rotterdam, NL: 4.04MB/s
Download speed from Leaseweb, Haarlem, NL: 13.0MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Singapore: 10.5MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Seattle, WA: 66.0MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, San Jose, CA: 72.6MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Washington, DC: 30.2MB/s
    I/O speed : 250 MB/s

The 600 MHz was an accidental configuration problem from months ago. O.o Open a ticket now so I can fix that, dangit!
