If you are not going anywhere, and expect to start biz again in < 60 days. Why refund and close down now?

Props on giving refunds at least.

  • Any current or former customer who wants to have services with VPSRaid that wants new services, let me know.

My personal opinion on this whole situation is that it's just business as usual. He is having some issues within his personal life and it shouldn't be made public in a forum like this. Heh, I should know, a lot of you guys ridiculed me because of my wreck, but I have thick skin and I still like all of you. :) Either way, he's a good guy and I understand his issues and hope that everything gets better for him. All will be well in the LET land. That is all. Carry on.

    Thanks guys. :)

  • Good luck @VPSRAIDSolutions for your future endeavors. Knowing when to stop is crucial and a smart move. Its great that you informed your users and settled issues before you move on, so you have made new friends here and added some trust when you start over again.. But as someone told here.. choose a short brand name next time.. ;)

  • US medical service is the best. I'm sure you'll be right. :)

  • Obviously this must be a disappointment for you; whilst you were a pain the arse with all your attention grabbing attempts, I do have a certain admiration for those prepared to take a shot at running their own business.

If you do come back, one thing you MUST do is demonstrate that your 'new' business can run without you for a month or two if needed, otherwise no-one is going to trust you with their services.

All the best and i hope you have not wasted a lot of your parents hard earned money and by now you must have also realized that earning money is not a simple task.

I've put my own money its only me and my father living together I pay from what I earn from coding php apps for customers. And services which I provide for game servers. I do know how hard it is to earn money.

I'll pass on the VPSRAID account to Duke so I'll be myself on this one.

    Now that is a f*ck up. :)

  • To be honest I think you should take more than sixty days. You should find some way to specialise in the industry - make local connections to get a unique location, learn about how to create a high availability network and sell 'real cloud' hosting, become a SEO and linux tweaking wizard and be a real stand out managed/shared provider, whatever you think would work.

It's not really a viable business strategy now to rent a server, follow a few tutorials to set it up and provide the same service that's available in ten more places for a similar price and with a better reputation.

Good luck, maybe there's still a place for you in the web hosting world. I think you can see now though that you need to stand out. You don't want to get involved in the race to the bottom, it's not worth it. At least you're parting in good faith.

  • Take care of your health. we wish you to get back as a provider :)

Yea wont be back into VPS business most probably will work for a few companies. Become a reputed sales improviser thats my plan for now.

  • It seems that www.vpsraid.com is still active and taking orders.

Is @XFS_Duke taking over everything or just the domain name?

I too would like to know this.

  • Has anyone here 1) bought services from him and 2) can confirm that he refunded you? Just curious.

  • @hellogoodbye - I bought a $20 annual vps from him on November 3rd, refunded $18 on November 17th.

    Thanked by 1hellogoodbye
  • I've taken over the domain name and the website will stay up at his request until the 30th. I don't have any control over the site at the moment, so if you want to orders something, contact me personally and I'll get you whatever you need. Within reason of course... lol

  • Why on earth is it still taking orders until the 30th?

That's what I want to know.

  • I don't think he's accepting any orders. I know the site says he is, but I don't really know. I'm gonna message him to see if he realized it or not.

Since he is from India, I don't think he is online right now. If I knew the username he used for Blesta I'd login and turn off ordering. But I don't have that information, so I cannot.

We'll wait for his response though.
