Try very hard, just because nobody has done it before doesn't mean it's impossible!

Zinnee is at least pronouncable, so that one.

    I'm a non-native english speaker, I was close though.

  • ITLIZED sounds good

  • @cola haha that's how we think :)

@ALL I shortened the list to: XOOSU and XEESI. Which one is BETTER?

XEESI sounds like Lochness, i dont know if the costumers would run away.

  • Are you going to name it after PEPSI?

@Microlinux: why bad? And what can be better?

@msg7086: I filtered them out of thousands of available names and I didn't even think about of PEPSI :)

@Infinity580: Do you feel bad when you see XEESI?

I don't like Xeesi it doesn't sound good, and if you were to tell somebody this name they could not easily know how to spell it.

Not that you can spell any of the names in the first place.

    True

I think I'd try to pronounce XEESI as "cheesy" or "sheezy" which don't associate to good things in my mind. Also it rhymes with "sleazy".

XOOSU could sound like "choose you" or "shoe sue" which at least don't sound like they mean anything (to this English speaker anyway).

@shovenose, @Scion Do you think xoosu is better or another name in the 1st post is better?

    @alexvolk I don't understand what you mean...

@Brad Which one is easier to spell, xeesi or xoosu?

I think they all suck. Is this for a VPS company, or something else?

  • @shovenose I not running a hosting company at any levels. It's for general purposes like Google or Yahoo: mail, search, wallet, social network,... (e.g: XEESI Market, XEESI Wallet,...)

Xyzoo or MonkeyServers, MonkeyVPS or XOOSU

First of all, thanks a ton for your interests & support.
I'm starting building up a brand name and I need your opinion on choosing the name.
What do you think the best name for a brand in the list? (General purposes like Google or Yahoo: mail, search, wallet, social network,...)

And your decision is based on which factors?

    1. ZINNEE
    2. CEIZE
    3. MSOFO
    4. ITLIZED
    5. XOOSU
    6.
    7. XEEXY

SISSY is missing from your list...

they are all not very appealing and most sound like girly names, if you dont twist your tongue first that is. Another thing you should take into consideration when you choose a company name is that after you can speak it, it should be as easily written, so choose something with meaning or something simple enough.

  • @vladimir sissy.com is not available... lolz. Anyway, if you have to choose one of these 3: XEESI, XOOSU and XEEXY for a serious brand name, which one will you pick? Thanks :)

@outance Which factors did you consider to decide that name?

    @MichaelBui

    honestly, none. try this https://translate.google.com/#en/es/xoosu

press the little speaker button in the lower right corner of the input field, you will basically get the idea of its pronunciation. Im sure you will change your mind after you hear how those 3 sound.

    1. Easy to speak.
    2. Easy to Write,
    3. Meaning-able word.
    4. Looks like a brand.
    5. New to world, means .com/.net and social profile will available.
