  • Soooo. GVH found another way to give themselves free advertising through pass resets? That's unique.

    Just an update, as of now we have no evidence of a "hack" it looks more like a bug in WHMCS as the password resets were sent in line with the Cronjob, we will escalate to WHMCS to see if they have a better insight

    Bull ^^

    @ksubedi said:
    It appears that WHMCS ran it and its in line with the timing of cronjob finishing another process.

    and Shit ^^

    When you going to try the real reason?

    9th email so far.

    Does anyone suspect they're just sending more password resets in order to cover up something?

  • I'm starting to get a little worried now... It seems like they have no idea what they are doing.

    Just shut down the damn server, configure it to have access from just one IP, and investigate the what the hell is going on.

  • hahaha they've haven't had a clue since they started offering services and now they have pissed off the wrong person. They have 50+ techs tho, the issue should already be fixed!

    don't lie mpkossen, you know this isn't the first time you've noticed this

    Maybe their crons.php is in their admin folder inside public_html and someone got the URL and is spamming it?
