  • Mine is not too bad:

     dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 11.0441 s, 97.2 MB/s

  • well this is ovh ladys and gents :I)

  • When I had a provider having such low dd test in last year, about 10MB/s, I need to setup my fresh os to run Nginx+MySQL+PHP for more than 3 hours, and that's also with automatically disconnected ssh connection, and next I get an extra automatically shutdown of vps.

  • Using them for a TOR exit node until it runs out, not such a good idea perhaps since they have a copy of my passport...

Ovh Vps classic is still good

Reboot does not take much time i think they may have customized their OS to Boot and shut down faster for your OS only

  • It is written that OVH classic vps are nested inside Vmware VM (their cloud one) so if you are at one point alone on the VM you can get more than 10 MB io then it will decrease... you will get what you pay for..

  • omg old topic not allowed to reply ok

  • Here, let me kick it:

    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 36.0842 s, 29.8 MB/s

OVH VPS Classic. Never going to give it up.

  • Closed per OPs request.
