lol this just keeps getting better.
https://boloxmedia.co.uk has refugee offers.
What a shitshow. Just put my charge back with Monzo.
Anyone can find the post where he was selling the business? He Deleted it from Reddit.

$16/month, of course. It will only end when it overflows a 32-bit value at $4294967296/month.
first it was $4/mo renewal now $8/mo
next what veloxmedia will charge $80/mo renewal??
already requested a chargeback to my bank provider, still in their 120 days chargeback policy btw, 119/120 days lol I was lucky enough
but hey, the money is enough to buy a stick of 32gb ram ddr4, so it's the same as my old server
Great. It seems Eric is going after the more expensive, profitable deals. Clearly, he doesn't stop at unprofitable deals. So, if there's any people out there who still has sustainable deals running under Eric... You know what you had to do.
I knew this would happen! Dispute NOW to get your money back!
He's still funny, isn't he. Told you if he'd pop-up somewhere we'd be there to point him to his past...
"I'm happy to provide up to 3 MONTHS of support post-handover to help ensure a smooth transition"
Definitely! Just take the money and disappear at the first day.
That's what Eric wants you to believe. First post: "Lewis is there to support in the transition". Second post: "Lewis is gone with the money". At the same time Lewis' name was still in the revamped "ToS" as compliance officer. When pointed at that, it was clear it wasn't a mistake but on purpose for a reason unexplainable to others.
Still don't know for sure if it's two people laughing their socks off (Lewis and Eric) or just one (because they're the same person).
I wonder if people are going to follow him around Reddit and tell others about what happened here. After all this drama, he would be best to change the name of the company.
I still haven't received an email about my VPS, but perhaps the email is still to come
In any case, I don't see myself renewing this VPS. Although the VPS is technically okay -- so far, at least -- it's difficult to have much confidence in this company after all that has happened. Fortunately, I paid for only one year, and it wasn't a large sum, so I'll simply treat this as a learning experience
First, everything will be fine and keep running.
Then terminated everything with "LET" in production name.
Now it's time to terminate those large RAM VPS without "LET" in production name.
Next maybe turn to those triennially plans since they will be there running for the next 2.5 years without extra payment.
Then biennially plans since they will be there running for the next 1.5 years without extra payment.
After all these are done will come to your yearly plan.
My service has went offline. Only noticed and checked emails this morning. I will need to get onto the server and get some info off it. Has anyone had any luck with the $8 renewal to get the vps back up?
Well said
It's kind of crazy, and this may be an instance of free association in my mind (!), but what you wrote reminds me of the famous confessional piece by Martin Niemöller (from 1946):
I'm of course sorry for @angstrom in case he loses his VPS. But that said, while not really big my VPS there is 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM, a decently sized drive, plus an insane traffic volume, so not really tiny.
It doesn't seem unreasonable that angstrom's VPS will continue to run the full contract period (with mine I'm less confident because mine was a 3 year deal).
Nope
Maybe.
I received the mail and (as mentioned here before) my plan didn't have LET in its name, has/had 5 cores, 2G RAM, 30G disk but was for 3 years. So this batch is not because of "high RAM". Maybe the 5 cores did it or the large traffic limit - but if the latter was the case I'd imagine you'd first take a look at what amount of traffic has been used.
No, I get the feeling it's more or less random, and also the new monthly payment doesn't really reflect system specs, because others with quite larger specs also got the same proposition. And before, LET marked plans, were also better specs and lower montly...
On that note, is it safe to say scammers are also teachers?
It's all a scam, there is no logic to it
The termination is sporadic. A good business would plan the service termination, even before the notice was released.
It took more than a month between the first notice and the latest one. It's definitely not caused by mail server rate limits or manpower to handle each case (else, he could have "borrowed" staffs).
he's probably just taking x% biggest resource units each pass. he's clearly just milking extra money off the people that feel a need to stay there for reasons.
if any of you miss his nonsense comments remember https://old.reddit.com/user/velox_media to stay current.
This morning both of my server went in unavailable state and even disappeared from the dashboard for about 1.5 hours and then came back online again. I managed to move the servers successfully, I was lucky.
My two VPSs are running fine and invoices are pretty overdue but well, who cares?
Eric, where are you?
