"Andrew Edwards" is CH. 👍
I find it ironic that what started as a issue over privacy is now devolving into wherever this is going now. Others may not.
How so? We're not "exposing" him or doxxing him as an individual. The business is the target of interest, and this is the name he uses in his signature and on his own review pages FOR HIS BUSINESS. By his own logic, he should've used a pseudonym if he wanted to avoid this outcome.
It's not like "Andrew Edwards" is a particularly identifying name, either.
since i updated my trustpilot review, its live. now charityhost edited there reply 5 times. i got 5 emails. maybe they are trying to take down my review.
They've only allowed 3 less-than-perfect reviews through. Sadly makes sense. Trustpilot wants to keep the providers on the platform.
But they do this at the expense of customers who are tricked into thinking reviews are real.
Exactly. That's why I'm thankful forums like LET exist.
let's not cross the line into doxxing, even if it's obvious and on the front page of google
Seems like he's trying hard to "silence" bad reviews too
I never thought Trustpilot was that important for providers, as to struggle to create new accounts for reviews.
He's done that, and a lot more.
I'm pretty sure those are real people, just being bribed to post glowing reviews of CharityHost in exchange for extended service or account credit.
Rename the thread title: CharityHost_org banned and Trustpilot is rigged towards companies.
True. Title should be renamed. Truspilot is clearly not trustworthy anymore.
At least we have this now: https://www.whtop.com/review/charityhost.org
Important note to all customers of any provider (especially CharityHost in this thread): make sure to have backups. If you can still access your service, make sure to make backups. Beyond services and uptime, your data is most important, therefore make sure to always have backups.
Chat, my pve isn't reboot after 2 hours, what an achievement
I had a bad feeling about charity host ever since their first post lmao
Dude would not take feedback of any kind
I wonder why they had to rebrand from SpectroHost? What went wrong?
The business name wasn't holy enough.
Will it rebrand back to spectrohost?
Honestly, not an unreasonable theory. But to me, there's more. "Andre B" is listed as the manager of Spectrohost, but that changed to "Andrew Edwards/Andrew E."

He still signed his support tickets as Andre when I was a CharityHost customer, though.
Somehow, I don't think he'd change his pseudonym in addition to his business name if it were just an innocent rebrand to look better, and nothing went quite wrong in the past.
This never gets old
Just bend over and take the deal
Disclaimer R Rated:
If CockHost ever gets a scandal, rebrand to ProstituteHost
seems charityhost's customers have started looking for alternative? googling 'chartiyhost alternative' now has around 4 sponsored listings for server companies. lol. Till few days back there were none advertising for this keyword.

What’s this?
Yeah I saw one ad on google yesterday. 4 is an increase for sure. It’s an interesting development. Host.charity is provider-neutral and I intend for it to remain that way, but if we pick up on people choosing specific alternatives, I might make a note of it somewhere on the site.
looks like this page is now just below host.charity on google for "charityhost" and 1st for "charityhost alternative"
