Which question went unanswered? I may have missed it—feel free to point it out and I’ll make sure to respond.

It also seems you're criticizing a service you haven’t actually used 🤷‍♂️

    Are you referring to:
    “Is bandwidth truly unlimited?”
    “How is stuff replicated/distributed?”

Both were already answered in the post. But to clarify:

Bandwidth is truly unlimited or as unlimited it can be considering the speed limit

The S3 cluster uses 2x replication

Each node in the cluster has 36 × 22TB disks

NVMe SSD storage isn’t available yet, but it's coming soon

Is double the storage your order so yes if you order 1 TB you get 2TB for the same price, if you order 10 TB you get 10 TB Extra

One is object storage accessible via the S3 API; the other uses Nextcloud for file management and sharing.

the original thread is bit of confusing due to position of the line

it looks like the double storage only apply to the cloud storage ? or does it also apply to s3 storage ?

Yes, it applies only to Cloud Storage. I’ve edited the text and made it bold to make it clearer. :)

Hosted nextcloud comes with data encryption or do I have to do that myself? Because I have seen many providers snooping on cx's data.

That might be another Promo offer later in the season

Files are obfuscated by default when stored on S3 through Nextcloud, and S3 server-side encryption is enabled.
There’s absolutely no risk of snooping — we guarantee that.
However, if you prefer full control, you’re always welcome to self-host your own Nextcloud instance and use our object storage as the primary storage.

Some easter promo would be great as this offer would be similar to your last thread for object storage: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/202877/50-off-object-storage-3-per-tb#latest
