On what basis? Don't be silly.
As a hosting company, you have responsibilities toward your client - the person who ordered and paid for the service, not some unrelated third-party individual who may claim the service from your client.
A hosting company is there to offer a service, not to play a detective and involve itself in a private dispute between two parties that has nothing to do with company itself.
(I'm not defending the OP here, just stating the obvious.)

You could say the same thing about most abuse complaints -- that the host's responsibility is to the customer and they shouldn't play detective about disputes between third parties. Some companies do things that way, but not most of them.

May I request to kindly take into consideration that he posted my email address and what he >wrote about my family before unbanning him.

Who said anything about unbanning him? Please re-read my post, thank you.
@xyl0n is now gone from a few years ban, to forever. I only tries to make sure @dev_vps was covered.

Yeah. Hopefully, it's because he's like 12yo or something.

I always put my home address in the whois data when I register a domain name. My neighbors wear a ski mask instead, for privacy. I've never seen their faces. And they pixellate anything out of their pictures. It's dangerous otherwise. Especially their kids, their kids are little pixel creatures, but I swear I once saw a nitid piece of ski mask behind the pixel blob. What a fap fest.
