unfortunately still subterranean values! @labze
Could it be a problem with that specific server or did you also try other test servers (maybe some in Frankfurt)?
resultes are far away from the sun (@ehab @Mumbly) ->![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/RT78_1X6z28/0.jpg)
Maybe open a ticket if you haven't already?
I'm sure @labze is solving all the problems, and also like many waiting for the promotions to come back.
It's definitely getting better:
Speedtest.net 6913.02 Mbps 2374.40 Mbps 0.40 ms
but I/O is still far behind the first days (was 700MB/s-1.1Gb/s):
I/O Speed(1st run) : 137 MB/s
I/O Speed(2nd run) : 179 MB/s
I/O Speed(3rd run) : 148 MB/s
I/O Speed(average) : 154.7 MB/s
Try and restart from the VPS management panel and see if that improves your results. Some changes to the disk setup has been made.
Disk Speed:
1st run : 570 MB/s
2nd run : 706 MB/s
3rd run : 985 MB/s
Average : 753.7 MB/s
Also expected to improve a bit over time. Still seeing high mixed IO usage as the server is being filled.
seems still not as good as before after restart
hi. any new deals coming????
@labze If I select an anniversary or flash offer, am I able to switch to a different offer later on if I find that I need more resources, or can I only add extra resources to my current plan?
This load is quite...interesting.
@bjo: no error in dmesg?
even after opening a ticket, restarting the server and informing me that the problem has been solved / or that the values should now be better, the network speed is still subterranean! i'm not used to such lousy values from hostbrr @labze.
I am sure @labze will figure it out.
hope dies last!
it's actually great for the price
I am still trying to figure this out. I do not know much you've setup your server, if not a lot then a rebuild might be worth a try. I have tested several servers now and I cannot replicate these low results.
used your windows server 2022 template. nothing more setup, blank windows, no other tweaks.
Any news from Aurologic?
Funny thing, I haven't noticed any issues with speed, but packet loss is quite persistant since Apr 25 and seems to be getting worse in time, not better.![:( :(](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
Reinstall Debian 11 OS and run the speedtests.
if numbers look good, install Windows Server 2022, RDP into windows and wait for 30 minutes and then reboot.
After restart, run Windows update.
I also use the Windows Server 2022 template, and here is my test result. Choosing the same speed test server. Speed is great.
No packetloss on our network, either you have permanent DDoS-Protection on, causing icmp to be ratelimited - you can verify that with a MTR - or there is another real issue ;-)
hmm...
@hyperblast
That shows data speed is ok for your vps
yep. i follow your mentionied steps above now.
the values are a little better but still bad and lousy compared to @dev_vps and @gemini90 . @labze
Which browser did you use? Google Chrome usually gives a much better speed test result than Firefox.
edge = chrome
Hey, let's have a summer promotion?![:D :D](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
