Anyone in Asia having connectivity issue to the server? Is there any broken cable somewhere?

Usually I'm getting ~250ms ping to European servers. Now it's ~350ms.

    edit: nvm found it https://www.deccanchronicle.com/world/damaged-undersea-cables-in-red-sea-affect-25-data-traffic-between-asia-and-europe-884305

I think the DDOS protection is too sensitive, maybe @labze can comment on this.
When I first got it, I noticed the first speed test I do hits 8-9Gbps. Then suddenly I am disconnected. When I reconnect again, speeds are sub 1Gbps and the latency is also increased. On the first day, it would restore pretty fast to normal, but now I think thats not the case.

Spot on. I had only configured part of one subnet for 10 Gbps as I expected this to be enough to accomodate the demand for quite a while. However, all IPs in this subnet was quickly used. I deployed another subnet and raised a ticket to change the mitigation threshold early friday expecting it to be resolved the same day. Unfortunately still waiting for Aurologic to update this.

any news on that topic. the download speed is one 227th (down) and one 68th (up) of the advertised 10000mbps.

It is taking longer than expected due to the issue not being entirely obvious. But I have gathered much information that got sent to Aurologic two days ago. Awaiting resolution from their side as it is likely something incorrectly configured there.

You should be able to get 1 Gbps no problem. The issue arises if you try and push it further. You can open a ticket so I can limit you to this speed so your connection does not drop then I can remove this once it is resolved.

Yes, no approximate time other than this week (most likely). Trying to setup a deal that more can benefit from other than 5-10. But do not have many servers with much room left, so seeing what I can do.

IPv6 only + Cloudflare Tunnel and - 1€ would be insane deals.

You can compare different machines, obviously faster is better, and you can test how constant the performance of a VPS is.
There is no good or bad benchmark, it strongly depends on what you need (or want).

GB5 and drive 4k fio can roughly tell the performance and whether seller is overselling severely. Though here in hostbrr most case you just need simply open a ticket and labze will deal any question lol.

The drives are taking some punishment atm as they are getting filled. It'll likely get much better later this week.

What did you buy? The Epyc 9534 deals are at their new place in Frankfurt. Not Hetzner.

    Should be better now
